WWE hoping they’ve found the next Bella Twins with two NIL recruits

WWE recently announced the signing of the inaugural “Next In Line” class of college athletes. The athletes have signed deals for their name, image, and likeness. It will offer a pathway between college sports and WWE.

Hanna and Haley Cavinder, who are twin sisters that both play basketball for Fresno State University, are part of the first class of the program and have already become well known on social media.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the new recruits are being looked at as potential successors to the Bella Twins.

Meltzer wrote, “both were being looked at as recruits by WWE prior to the NIL program with the idea of the success of the Bella Twins. They are currently juniors at the school. Both are 5-foot-6, and you can see that looks are part of it, but they are real top-tier athletes.”

The announcement of the program came after WWE signed Gable Steveson to the company’s first-ever NIL contract back in September. The Olympic gold medallist will finish up his wrestling career at the university of Minnesota before making the transition to full-time pro wrestling training.
