Tomorrow morning, WWE will announce the location for next year’s WrestleMania 37.
Dave Meltzer is reporting that the announcement is expected to be made at 9 am tomorrow. He was apparently told off the record so he is not able to give details on the location but the rumors are already out there and he hinted that the rumors that are out there already would confirm what tomorrow’s announcement will be.
Los Angeles’ Times Arash Markazi reported several months ago that WWE was laying the groundwork to hold a WrestleMania at the Los Angeles’ Rams stadium in Inglewood, California.
WWE wanted to run WrestleMania in Los Angeles in 2022 so they could claim a higher attendance than Super Bowl LVI, which is set for February 2021. It looks like the city got its way because there are strong rumors suggesting that Los Angeles will be announced as the host city for next year.
Los Angeles previously hosted WrestleMania events in 1986 when the company ran in three locations that also included New York and Chicago. They returned to Los Angeles in 1991 for WrestleMania VII and in 2005 for WrestleMania 21.
