WWE is bringing in Shane McMahon for WrestleMania 38

Things appear to be smoothed over between Shane McMahon and WWE.

PWInsider reported today that McMahon is being brought in for WrestleMania weekend in Dallas. This would be his first time back with the company since Royal Rumble weekend in January. It was not said if McMahon will be involved on the actual broadcast, working behind the scenes, or if he will just be there to visit with friends and family. The only thing that is known is that he will be in town and WWE is flying him in.

McMahon had a falling out with his father Vince McMahon after the Royal Rumble show and plans for Shane to face Seth Rollins at WrestleMania were scrapped. There were also plans for Shane to be part of the Elimination Chamber match in February.

Shane reportedly took a lot of heat after he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way for his conduct while helping produce the Men's Royal Rumble match. Those who were involved with the match stated that Shane was more worried about putting himself over and how he would look and there was a disagreement with Brock Lesnar regarding the closing minutes of the match.

There were also reports that Shane was pushing to work with Austin Theory at WrestleMania with the idea being that Vince would be involved but those plans were never locked in and ultimately they went with Theory vs. Pat McAfee.

Shane has been keeping busy since his exit in January. Just a week after the Rumble, he was seen with Marco Masotti, the owner of South Africa's rugby team and Masotti noted that he was "excited for a partnership between WWE and rugby." In late February, he was seen with Florida Governor Ron Desantis.
