WWE is still a few months away from the SummerSlam pay-per-view event, which is reportedly taking place on August 22nd.
The only thing regarding the location that has been reported is the company having a few different locations in mind for it.
The likes of Phoenix, Arizona or somewhere in Texas has been reported to be in the running as the hosting site of the event. Dave Meltzer reported earlier this week WWE was considering holding the show at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The latest comes from Fightful Select, which reports “there have been several cities and locations discussed, but internally Las Vegas seems to be gaining a lot of steam.”
Vegas does have Allegiant Stadium where the Raiders play. It should be noted that WWE wants to hold the show at an outdoor venue, so the only problem with this stadium is the roof doesn’t open. It’s still possible WWE decides on the venue or even another stadium in the state of Nevada.
