WWE is considering different stipulation for top TLC match

As we noted earlier on the site, an advertisement for matches was released locally for the upcoming WWE TLC PPV event.

One of the matches listed was Baron Corbin vs. Roman Reigns in a TLC Match. This has been a feud going on for the past few weeks now, which would lineup with the advertisement at this show.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE is considering an interesting stipulation for the match. A ‘dog collar match” has been discussed by WWE.

He wrote, “It will be a gimmick match but the gimmick has not been decided upon. It could be tables ladders or chairs, but dog collar match has also been up for consideration.”

WWE just had Corbin mock Reigns last week on SmackDown by stating that his bark was more like the sound of a chihuahua. This could’ve hinted towards something that WWE is planning.

The stipulation would see Corbin and Reigns chained together while wearing dog collars.

WWE will hold the TLC pay-per-view event on Sunday, December 15, 2019, in Minneapolis at the Target Center and will air it on the WWE Network. Here are the matches locally advertised:

*WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The Kabuki Warriors vs. Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch & Charlotte Flair – first-ever Women’s TLC Tag Team match

*Roman Reigns vs. King Corbin – TLC match.

*Rusev vs. Bobby Lashley with Lana.
