WWE Is Heading Towards Extending Impressive Live Event Streak

There’s no denying that WWE’s business is on fire right now as they continue to set new records with live event attendance and profits.

On fire

The reason for such revenue is the guaranteed big-money media rights deals with NBCU and FOX currently for Raw, NXT, and SmackDown, the streaming rights from Peacock for PLEs & library, and license fees. Their media rights deals will only increase later this year when the new contracts with NBCU and The CW kick in, as well as Raw’s Netflix 2025 deal, starts.

Since taking over the book from Vince McMahon, Triple H has turned around WWE’s creative, increasing interest in the product. The Bloodline storyline has also significantly helped business as well.

The show

WWE will hold Raw from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, TX, this Monday night. Becky Lynch vs. Nia Jax and Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso have been confirmed for the show.

WrestleTix noted the show has sold 13,332 tickets, and there are 168 left. It’s set up for 13,500 fans, with them selling 1,656 tickets in the last three days. The last time they were at the venue, they drew 14,149 fans for SmackDown last October.

Monday’s Raw is heading toward their 5th consecutive TV sell out for WWE, as the fourth straight sell out was Friday’s SmackDown.
