WWE Is In Talks With Microsoft Over Call Of Duty Deal

WWE is expected to land another licensing deal that will see them make championship title belts.

During the latest episode of WrestleVotes Radio on SportsKeeda’s Backstage Pass Patreon, it was noted WWE is in talks to bring out commemorative title belts in partnership with Call of Duty.

WWE previously made a deal to have several of its stars, including Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley, in WarZone. The company already makes title belts for the likes of the NFL, NHL, MLB and other leagues.

Joey Votes: “We can say that WWE is in a line of talks with Microsoft for a video game line, specifically for the Call of Duty game. We can see Call of Duty commemorative championship titles on the horizon, potentially around Christmas time. TC, what are your thoughts on WWE, expanding past the sports leagues as we get into commemorative championships for video games?”

WrestleVotes: “I’m not a gamer myself, but I do understand how large of a business it is, and I think it’s just good business for WWE to have these partnerships to expand as much as you can into different markets for people who spend a lot of time playing video games, and I know it’s very competitive nowadays. Call of Duty, I have some cousins that play that all time online, and sit there with your shiny golden belt over your shoulder as you snipe people from  50 yards away. So I think it’s good business.”
