Ring Of Honor’s “Death Before Dishonor” pay-per-view takes place tonight in Las Vegas and one of their top stars could be on his way out of the company so it will be interesting to see how they book him.
ROH Champion Matt Taven’s deal with the company is about to expire and ROH has made a nice offer to entice him to stay.
“You don’t get to have too many surprises in this business, but I’m keeping this one close to the vest,” Taven told the Orlando Sentinel. “This is a life-changing decision and a million different things go into it, so I have to weigh my options. No matter what, I’m grateful for every opportunity I’ve been given so far in my career and I don’t forget where I came from. I’m just going into this with an open mind and let the chips fall where they may.”
WWE does want to sign him so it will be interesting to see what his next move is.
Meltzer also reported that ROH is expected to make a huge offer to Marty Scrull, who would likely get offers from WWE and AEW when his contract expires soon. Scurll has a lot of friends in AEW.
