WWE is branching out with their own podcast network.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news about WWE teaming up with Endeavor Audio to create a podcast network that will feature several series on their wrestlers.
Endeavor Audio already works with WWE to power the new version of the WWE Network and they work with The Bella Twins on their podcast.
This isn’t the first time WWE has dipped their toe into audio shows. They tried with WWF Radio (hosted by Jim Ross) on radio stations in the mid-90s. They also had a podcast a few years ago that was dropped.
The idea to start a podcast network (similar to The Chris Jericho network of podcasts) seems like it would open the door for content on the WWE Network if they decided to film them like Conrad Thompson did when his podcasts with Bruce Prichard aired briefly on the WWE Network.
