There are some big changes happening behind the scenes at WWE in the announcer department.
PWInsider reported today that Michael Cole will be pulling back from his responsibilities so he can concentrate fully on his on camera work as the lead announcer for Monday Night Raw and PLE events. Cole was in a lead management position role for years where he would help manage the other announcers in the company.
Cole has talked about for years about wanting to scale back some of his duties and the recent change is said to be his call.
As for who will be taking over the behind the scenes duties to manage the announcers, that role will go to Sue Cundaro. She has been with the company for a long time and had been working with Cole to manage the announcers so she is no stranger to that role.
