In a follow up to the story first broken by Wrestling Inc about Tom Phillips being replaced on Monday Night Raw, Andrew Zarian from the Mat Men podcast is reporting that Corey Graves is moving from SmackDown to Raw.
Graves will join Adnan Virk and Byron Saxton to comprise the revamped announce team. There’s no word on what this means for Phillip’s future on the broadcast team. Michael Cole is currently the lead announcer for SmackDown. Graves moving to Raw would, in theory, leave a spot open for someone on SmackDown. While not confirmed, if Samoa Joe plans to continue as a commentator then he could be the one getting the spot on SmackDown.
We’ll pass along more information when we hear more.
I can confirm the report by @RajGiri_303 that Raw is getting a change-up for the announce team
