It was reported by PWInsider that two WWE NXT stars are moving up to the main roster.
WrestleVotes first reported on Wednesday about plans for an NXT wrestler to join the Roman Reigns storyline with Kevin Owens. Dave Meltzer noted that the person was supposed to be Priest who was supposed to tag with Owens last week against Uso and Reigns.
PWInsider is also reporting that Priest is headed to the main roster and they are also reporting that Rhea Ripley lost last night to Raquel Gonzalez because she has finished up with the NXT brand and will be moved to either Raw or SmackDown.
Priest has received a lot of praise behind-the-scenes because of the improvements he’s made to his in-ring work and his physique. The feeling on him is that he has a pretty good chance at getting pushed on the main roster because he is someone who Vince McMahon would treat as a top star.
Ripley is also someone who many believe can be a top star on the main roster because of her look and her in-ring work.
