WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event will return, airing live on NBC and simulcast on Peacock on Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. ET from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Long Island, N.Y.
This is the site of the first-ever “Saturday Night’s Main Event” back in 1985. The specials ran on NBC from 1985 to 1991 instead of Saturday Night Live.
In 1992, WWE aired the special on FOX before it disappeared. WWE brought it back in prime time in March 2006 when it returned to NBCU for Raw on USA Network. That lasted until August 2008.
Tickets went on sale to the public on Friday. WrestleTix noted the show has sold 7,254 tickets, and there are 824 left. With WWE using its normal stage set, it’s possible they open up more seating with a different stage configuration.
The last time they were at the venue, in September 2023, they drew 7,832 fans for a Saturday Night’s Main Event-themed house show.
