WWE Is Planning A Big Event Featuring Cody Rhodes As The Top Star

WWE is said to be planning to have more live shows in Mexico soon. The company is reportedly making plans for many shows that will end with a special “SuperShow Mexico” event. This news is from a new report by WrestleVotes that was shared last week.

The report stated, “We’re told WWE is planning to run multiple live events in Mexico in the near future, all centered around a featured ‘SuperShow Mexico’ event.” This means WWE is likely planning a big set of tour dates in Mexico, with the “SuperShow Mexico” being the main attraction.

While the exact date and place for “SuperShow Mexico” and the other live shows are still being worked out, the report says these plans are being worked on right now. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted WWE is planning a big show in Mexico with Cody Rhodes advertised as the top star.

Meltzer said, “They will be doing a WWE show there. I don’t know the date yet, but I know they’re planning a big show with Cody Rhodes as the top star on that show, which means  a major show there, relatively soon.”

Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (a Mexican promotion that WWE reportedly acquired in April 2025) is holding its Triplemania Regia event on Sunday, June 15, 2025, in Monterrey, Mexico.
