WWE is planning on expanding their roster

We’ve written several times about the expanding WWE roster. The roster is bigger than it’s ever been and apparently, it will continue to expand.

As reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the new revenue coming in from the NBCUniversal and Fox Sports deals are going to allow WWE to do more things with the product and that includes plans to expand talent on the main roster and on the NXT side.

The ideas include to add more Performance Centers around the world and to set up more international territories, similar to what they have done with NXT UK.

In the past, WWE would have decided not to pursue him because they wanted wrestlers who could go on the road every week. Now, because of their expansion, they are willing to sign him to an NXT UK-type of deal that would allow him to still work for his home promotion (wXw) in Germany.
