WWE Is Reportedly Planning To Hold WrestleMania 42 In New Orleans

WWE is reportedly returning to New Orleans for WrestleMania 42 in 2026.

WrestleVotes reported today that the company plans to announce WrestleMania 42’s location—the Superdome in New Orleans—before WrestleMania 41 this April. The exact announcement date is unclear.

The tweet read, “Sources indicate WWE is planning on announcing WrestleMania 42’s location prior to this year’s event, with the highly speculated New Orleans, LA, as the host city. The Superdome (Silverdome, brother)—home of WM 30 & 34—is set to host its third Mania in 2026.”

The first WrestleMania held in New Orleans was WrestleMania XXX (30) in 2014. It featured The Undertaker’s streak being broken by Brock Lesnar and Daniel Bryan’s World Title win.

They returned four years later for WrestleMania 34 in 2018. That event saw Ronda Rousey’s WWE debut, teaming with Kurt Angle to defeat Triple H and Stephanie McMahon; Daniel Bryan’s in-ring return with Shane McMahon against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn; and Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship in the main event.
