WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia

WWE is expected to make its return to Saudi Arabia for an event after not hosting a show in the country in over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast reported today that the company will be returning to the country this year.  He did list an October 21st date, which is a Thursday, but he has yet to double confirm it as the actual return date.

The company has a 10-year partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority and WWE is paid big money to host two events in the country per year.

The last show that WWE held in Saudi Arabia was its Super ShowDown pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Mohammed Abdou Arena in February 2020.  WWE just returned to live event touring earlier this month.
