As many of you saw at the WWE Elimination Chamber PLE, Roman Reigns retained the WWE Universal Championship against Sami Zayn in Montreal.
Before the finish, there Jimmy and Jey Uso got involved and Jey seemed conflicted on where he stood with Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. Kevin Owens made his return to save Sami but you may have missed something during the seconds leading up to KO hitting Paul Heyman with a Stunner.
As seen in the clip below, Heyman is heard saying to Owens, “I’ve always loved you. I’ve always wanted to be with you, not with him (pointing to Roman Reigns). Screw him, I love you.”
Heyman was clearly just saying what he needed to say in an effort to avoid getting attacked. It’s unclear if Reigns heard what Heyman said but one person who probably heard it was Solo Sikoa, who was sitting at home watching on TV. It appears that this is the start of a tease to have Heyman and Reigns split.
