Heading into WrestleMania weekend, one of the title matches will feature two of the most popular wrestlers on the roster and there seem to be hints of a turn coming.
As seen last night on WWE Friday Night SmackDown, Legado del Fantasma and the LWO stood face to face in a promo segment designed to set up a tag team match for WrestleMania.
Rey Mysterio proposed a match that would pit him and a partner of his choosing against Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio. It appeared that Rey was going to choose Carlito as his partner but instead, he opted to go with Dragon Lee, who was introduced as the latest member of the LWO. The camera zoomed in on Carlito’s face before Rey made his announcement so keep an eye on a possible turn there.
Later in the show during a backstage segment, The Judgment Day expressed unhappiness with Dominik Mysterio because he went out to the ring without telling Rhea Ripley and without telling the rest of the group. Ripley has been getting massive babyface reactions on TV and at live events and there has been speculation about a possible babyface turn at WrestleMania or shortly thereafter.
It also appears that we could be seeing the Rhea/Dominik split happening soon. One thing to keep in mind is that they teased this last July so the split might not happen right away.
