WWE is dropping hints to fans about another tag team that is having issues and it looks like a split is coming soon.
During Monday Night Raw (see the video below), Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop lost to Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah. Later in the show, as Damage CTRL was shown walking in the backstage area towards the ring, you could see Nikki and Doudrop arguing. You also see Nikki take her mask off and throw it in Doudrop’s face before walking away.
This isn’t the first time they have teased issues between them. Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Doudraop and Nikki were seen arguing in the background during an interview segment with Sonya Deville and Natalya.
There were also teases of a split during their early days as a tag team just a few months ago but that cooled off until recently. Now it looks like the split is happening soon and the tossing of the mask may be an indication of a character makeover for Nikki.
Nikki has gone from the fun-loving superhero gimmick to a more serious version of the character since she turned heel.
