News broke on Saturday that former WWE Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso is injured and will be on the sidelines.
Jimmy suffered a knee injury that will keep him out of action for a projected timeline for 6-9 months.
This would mean that he could be back in late September in the best case scenario but with it being an unknown situation, it could also mean a possibility that he’ll be out through the end of the year should any problems come about.
When fans learned of this news, many were wondering what this means for Jey.
With them being a tag team, typically, if one star gets injured then WWE will keep the partner off of television and in some instances not have them wrestle at all.
The latest update comes from Ringside News, which reports that WWE officials yet to make a decision on Jey’s status whether he’ll continue to stay on television as a singles star or pull him from upcoming shows until his brother is recovered and ready to wrestle again.
It was noted that the situation is discussed among Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, Ed Koskey, and Ryan Ward.
This injury comes just months after the tag team had made their return to WWE television with a new look as part of the core of the SmackDown tag team division.
As noted, the belief is that Jimmy suffered this injury during the WrestleMania tapings in the triple threat ladder match last month. To read the original report, click here.
