MJF talked about a bidding war happening when his AEW contract expires and it looks like that is exactly what will happen when the time comes.

Andrew Zarian reported today on his "We're Live, Pal" show that executives at FOX and USA Network have taken notice of MJF, especially during his promo segments with CM Punk.

Zarian says he was asked if MJF's deal is really up in 2024 and that someone at one of the TV networks said, "I actually stopped what I was doing and listened to him. I don’t think I have done that with pro wrestling in a long time."

Zarian said that a WWE source told him that similar conversations about MJF have occurred within the company, especially because they are focusing on new stars that can carry the company for years to come.

The WWE source told Zarian, "He has everything we would want. It really depends on if he could be that same person on WWE TV."

Tony Khan has stated in interviews that he has every intention of keeping MJF in AEW when it's time to negotiate a new deal ahead of the 2024 expiration.
