WWE has issued a storyline update on the incident involving Roman Reigns. The storyline investigation showed that it specifically caused by a forklift driver error.
This was after they originally wrote that the incident was caused by a forklift carrying lighting grids that were not properly secured.
As seen on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live in Memphis, TN at the FedExForum on the USA Network, Reigns was backstage when steel beams came plummeting toward him.
This angle will ultimately lead to Reigns facing a top star at the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view event. The match is expected to be made on Tuesday’s episode of SmackDown Live. For those who want to find out who the attacker is and Reigns’ opponent at SummerSlam, click here.
