WWE Kept Star Out Of Action As A Precautionary Measure

WWE has been building to today’s Crown Jewel PLE for the last few weeks with a loaded card filled with star power.

However, one name has been regularly used on television as he has been kept out of the ring for the last few weeks. That star is Solo Sikoa. At Crown Jewel, WWE has booked a six-man tag team match that will see Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso vs. The Bloodline (three of Solo Sikoa, Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa).

According to Cagematch.net, Sikoa hasn’t wrestled a match since October 18th at a SmackDown event when he put over Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes in a dark street fight. Before then, he worked a house show loop, putting over Rhodes in the UK.

His last TV match was October 11th, when he went over Jimmy Uso on SmackDown. In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported that Sikos had been sidelined as a “precautionary measure.”

Meltzer wrote, “It should be noted that Sikoa has not wrestled since a 10/18 street fight with Rhodes in Columbia, SC, and was kept out of the firing line in some of the recent brawls. He was pulled from a few scheduled matches with Rhodes since then. We were told it was more precautionary than serious.”
