WWE LFG Season 3 Production Begins

Production is officially underway for the third season of WWE LFG (Legends & Future Greats), the reality competition series that has quickly become a cornerstone of WWE’s programming lineup. According to a report from Bryan Alvarez, cameras have started rolling on the next installment of the show, which features emerging talent from the WWE developmental system vying for a lucrative contract in the NXT division.

While the series has previously relied on the mentorship of legends like The Undertaker and Michelle McCool, the upcoming season is set to feature a significant shakeup in the coaching staff. Reports indicate that current roster staples Kevin Owens and Natalya will now step into the mentor roles, bringing a contemporary perspective to the competition.

The news was all but confirmed earlier tonight when Natalya took to social media to share a post announcing her involvement in the filming process. Both superstars have extensive experience guiding younger talent, with Natalya having trained numerous women in “The Dungeon” and Owens having been a veteran of the independent scene before his WWE rise. Their task will be to mold the next generation of superstars, much like previous mentors who guided winners Jasper Troy and Tyra Mae Steele in Season 1, and Shiloh Hill and Dani Sekelsky (now known as Skylar Raye) in Season 2.

The first season premiered on February 16, 2025, followed quickly by a second season that ran from June through October 2025. This rapid production cycle underscores the company’s commitment to the format, which serves as both entertainment and a legitimate recruitment tool.

The show’s premise involves emerging talents living and training together under the watchful eyes of WWE Hall of Famers and stars, enduring physical and mental challenges designed to test their aptitude for the wrestling business. With Owens and Natalya now at the helm, the intensity of the competition is expected to rise, given both competitors’ reputations for no-nonsense excellence inside the squared circle.
