WWE has locked down the likes of Drew McIntyre, Chad Gable, Seth Rollins, Asuka, and most recently Sheamus to new deals.
The company has also seen some talent leave, such as Ricochet, who went to AEW, and Becky Lynch. She opted to leave the company just to take a break and has no interest in signing with another promotion.
They will have to ink Kevin Owens into a new deal, as his existing one has a few months left. Three other stars’ deals are also coming due.
PWInsider.com reports the company has approached Rhea Ripley, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, and WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax about signing new deals. Unlike what happened earlier this year, where talent contracts were slated to expire weeks before talks began, WWE is looking to get new deals done ahead of time with some wrestlers who still have plenty of time left on their deals.
This is said to be part of a “very aggressive” strategy to get deals done.
