As previously noted, MVP was one of the names that was in talks to return to WWE. Things appeared to be close because the word was that a deal had been agreed to and he just had to go through WWE’s standard medical tests.
However, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer newlsetter is reporting that MVP not being in WWE is WWE’s choice and not his. WWE did reach out to him first but things changed from WWE’s side. There’s no word on exactly why WWE changed their mind on him.
