It looks like the announce team for the Mae Young Classic has been confirmed. We already knew that Jim Ross would not be back for this year’s tournament and Mauro Ranallo’s name was rumored since last week.
As you can see below in a behind-the-scenes photo, it looks like the announce team will be Ranallo and WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix.
Phoenix and Ranallo were taping the bracketology special that will air soon on the WWE Network. This would be Pheonix’s second stint on a WWE series. She was brought in for the Mixed Match Challenge show that aired earlier this year on Facebook Watch.
WWE will begin taping matches tomorrow and on Thursday at Full Sail University. There is no word yet on when these matches will air. The finals will take place at the WWE Evolution pay-per-view in October. Click here for the full list of names announced for this year’s tournament.
