Backstage News on Which Match Will Close Out WWE Night of Champions

WWE is returning to Saudi Arabia next weekend for their first of two events in the country this year with Night of Champions.

WWE hasn’t come out and announced a clear main event for the show. There’s a reason for that, as just like they do with WrestleMania, the show is being marketed with the idea of there being several main event matches.

Insider account Boozer #BWE, which has broken past WWE stories, reported that Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn vs. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa, and Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar are the three main event matches being marketed for the show.

As of this writing, Rollins vs. Styles is slated to headline the show. There is also talk of adding a United States Title match being added to the event. As always, plans can change.

WWE holds Night of Champions on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at the Jeddah SuperDome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, which will air on Peacock.

Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch and WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther vs. Mustafa Ali are the other matches confirmed for the show.
