WWE may be losing PPV in Canada; Viewer's Choice to shut down

Viewer's Choice, the main pay-per-view distributor in Canada for movies and events will be shutting down. The news was confirmed today by a Bell Media spokeswoman to The Candian Press. All Viewer's Choice channels will be shutting down as of September 30th.

Viewer's Choice was launched in 1991 and was the exclusive provider in Canada for UFC and WWE events.

No word on how WWE plans to address this because the WWE Network won't be available until late 2014 or early 2015 so this could mean that Canadian fans will be shut out of WWE pay-per-views for a few months. This will also be a blow to UFC business in Canada as well.
