WWE May Be Planning Big Tag Team Match Involving Bad Bunny

It looks like WWE is bringing back Bad Bunny for another match.

Bunny has been praised for his work inside the ring. His first match was at WrestleMania 37.  In January 2023, he was part of the Men’s Royal Rumble match. He would go over Damian Priest in a street fight at Backlash months later.

Earlier this week, a report noted that WWE is considering a tag team match with WWE Champion John Cena and Travis Scott. The speculation is that Cody Rhodes would be one of their opponents, considering what happened at WrestleMania 41.

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reported, “There have already been reports of Scott & Cena doing a tag team match. The theory was Bad Bunny would be on the other side.”

It was added that Rhodes’ partner for the babyface side hasn’t been confirmed. However, if the idea moves forward with Bunny, WWE would need “a wrestler of the level of Cena on the face side.”
