Jelly Roll is expected to play a role at WrestleMania 42 following his recent involvement in WWE programming. Sources indicate to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select that ongoing discussions between the music artist and WWE are likely to lead to an appearance at the event in Las Vegas. Jelly Roll has reportedly received universal praise backstage for his professionalism and enthusiasm for the industry.
The musician is scheduled to appear in person on this week’s episode of SmackDown in Phoenix, Arizona. The announcement came during last Friday’s broadcast, where Jelly Roll appeared via video message to congratulate Randy Orton on his Elimination Chamber victory and offer support to WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
Jelly Roll’s potential WrestleMania involvement follows a highly praised performance at SummerSlam 2025. During the event, he teamed with Randy Orton in a match against Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre. Despite a losing effort that saw Paul pin him after a “Paul from Grace,” Roll reportedly impressed officials with his willingness to take bumps, including a spot involving a jump from the top post through an announce table from Paul.
Beyond his work with WWE, Jelly Roll recently crossed over into TNA Wrestling. He and fellow musician Teddy Swims appeared at the TNA No Surrender event in February to celebrate with Trey Miguel following Miguel’s singles title victory.
Jelly Roll has publicly stated he wants to do more in WWE, comparing his experience to that of Bad Bunny and expressing a wish to “run it back” for one more match. Additionally, he has been confirmed as a playable character for the upcoming WWE 2K26 video game, releasing later this month.
WrestleMania 42 is scheduled for April 18 and 19, 2026, at Allegiant Stadium. The current lineup includes several title defenses:
- Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. Randy Orton
- World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk (c) vs. Roman Reigns
- WWE Women’s Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Rhea Ripley
- Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (c) vs. Liv Morgan
