WWE may have just scrapped a major WrestleMania match

It looks like a major WrestleMania match will not be taking place. The WrestleMania rumors usually pick up around this time of year and this is when we typically start getting clues on what matches may or may not be taking place.

It’s no secret that Ronda Rousey has been training at the WWE Performance Center in recent weeks and there’s even been talk of her doing something at the Royal Rumble. However, her friends might not be involved as originally rumored.

Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir are no longer doing professional wrestling training. They had been training in different cities over the last couple of months but, as first reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it looks like the plans for them to wrestle may have been scrapped. That doesn’t necessarily mean that they won’t be involved with WWE in some form.

Meanwhile, Shayna Baszler will be getting a big push in NXT. So, what’s next? The prevailing rumor in WWE is that Rousey will be wrestling in a singles match at Mania. She is still training at the Performance Center in Orlando. However, there might be an issue that could prevent her from appearing in the women’s Royal Rumble match. Click here for more details on that story.
