WWE may have spoiled the women’s Money In The Bank match

WWE may have given away which brand will come out on top this Sunday night in the Women’s Money In The Bank match.

It was announced last night that Becky Lynch will confront the Money In The Bank winner on next week’s Raw show. Unless WWE plans on moving someone from SmackDown to Raw, this means that someone from Raw will win the ladder match on Sunday night.

Based on WWE’s announcement, that would mean that the most likely winners would be either Shayna Baszler, Nia Jax or Asuka. Nia has been getting a bigger push since she returned to action so she may be the next one in line for Lynch. WWE has been teasing a Bayley vs. Sasha Banks match for the SmackDown Women’s Title and Banks is not involved in the MITB match so that adds more fuel to the speculation that a Raw Superstar will win on Sunday night. It looks like the Bayley/Banks match will happen sometime in the summer.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer also noticed that WWE may have tipped their hand on the women’s Money In The Bank match.

Meltzer said, “They were pushing that Becky Lynch will confront the winner of the Money In The Bank match, which will lead you to believe it will be a Raw person because if it was a SmackDown person, Becky Lynch shouldn’t be confronting her.”

Announced for next week’s WWE Raw from the Performance Center:

– Becky Lynch will confront the winner of the Women’s Money In The Bank match
– Edge and Randy Orton will appear for the first time since WrestleMania.
