WWE May Have The Ability To Be Flexible With The Length Of Raw When It Moves To Netflix

WWE fans who hope that Raw will return to a two-hour format will get their wish when it happens on October 7th. However, it is not a permanent change.

Raw is in a gap at the moment between the move from USA Network to Netflix, as the Netflix deal doesn’t start until January. Because of the gap, WWE made a deal with USA to keep Raw on the channel. The original deal was supposed to expire this month.

As previously reported by Dave Meltzer, the USA Network made the call for the move to a two-hour format. When Raw goes to Netflix, it will once again be a three-hour show.

PWInsider.com reports that when it comes to Raw going back to three hours when the Netflix deal kicks in, they’ve not been able to lock down a definitive yes or no on that. While WWE may have to stick with a show past two-hours, they could have a say in how long it goes.

It was said, “Some in the company have played coy when asked while others have suggested that they will have the ability to be flexible with the length of the show depending on what is needed that specific week once they move to streaming.”

WWE Raw moves to Netflix on January 5th.
