WWE MITB plans for Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar are said to be ‘up in the air’

In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer reports that he got confirmation about Roman Reigns’ summer plans being Matt Riddle for Money In The Bank in Las Vegas, Randy Orton at SummerSlam in Nashville and Drew McIntyre in Cardiff, Wales on 9/3.

However, Meltzer added that plans may have changed with Roman Reigns because, as pointed out on Thursday, Reigns is no longer featured in the updated ads for Money In The Banks and neither is Brock Lesnar, among others.

Meltzer added that everything regarding Reigns and Lesnar for Money In The Bank is up in the air right now. Riddle vs. Reigns could still happen but there’s no word on what is next for Lesnar, who was originally booked for the show because it was supposed to be a stadium show. It was announced on Thursday that MITB is now going to take place in the smaller MGM Grand Arena.

Now that they are running a smaller arena, WWE can hold off on using Reigns and Lesnar on the show, which means that Riddle vs. Reigns would happen at a later date.

On the current MITB ads, Cody Rhodes is the featured Superstar. Cody is also the featured Superstar in the ads for Hell in a Cell.
