Welcome to WWE Monday Night RAW. There is video package hyping the Fatal 5-Way match shown. Bray Wyatt walked down to the ring to open the show. Wyatt told the fans to stand us for their savior, which is him. He said that the beast is all around us and is in everyone. He said that the beast is in their heads who tell them to run but he is in control and soon he will take on the beast. He said that four men will suffer at Extreme Rules and that he can protect everyone from the beast. He said that fans try to live through Finn Balor and that Seth Rollins can’t save them from the beast. This led to Roman Reigns walking out to the ring, who told him to talk trash to his face in his yard. Wyatt said that it was good to see him again. Wyatt said that he is the only one who can beat Brock Lesnar. Reigns disagree and vowed to win at Extreme Rules then go onto beat Lesnar. Reigns told him that he would get him out of his yard. This led to Kurt Angle walking out. He booked Reigns vs. Wyatt for right now. He wanted a referee out now and we have a match.
Singles Match: Bray Wyatt vs. Roman Reigns.
They start brawling to begin the match and then Wyatt hit a powerslam for 2. Reigns knocked him down. Samoa Joe walked down to the ring and attacked Reigns. Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch on Reigns. Wyatt then jumped on Reigns and Joe attacked Wyatt. This led to Seth Rollins running down to the ring and brawling with Joe. Reigns hit Wyatt with a Superman Punch. Reigns and Rollins stood tall in the ring to end the segment.
We see Angle talking with Reigns backstage. This led to Elias Samson walking up and playing the guitar. Angle booked Samson in a match against Dean Ambrose tonight.
Singles Match: Akira Tozawa vs. Ariya Daivari
Brian Kendrick was watching on from the backstage area. Tozawa hit a series of kicks then a splash for 2. Daivari avoided a splash and hit a clothesline for 2. Tozawa fought back and hit a top rope senton for the win. Quick match.
Sasha Banks cuts a promo about how she will beat Alicia Fox tonight and finally get free of her. Fox and Noam Dar walked up and mocked Banks for being alone.
Samson is in the ring singing and playing his guitar about how this is the last night for Ambrose. This led to Ambrose walking out to interrupt.
Singles Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Elias Samson
The Miz and Maryse were on commentary for this match. They lock up and Ambrose hit a series of arm drags. Samson placed him on the apron and nailed a knee strike to send us to break.
We’re back with Samson having Ambrose in a headlock. Ambrose fought out of it briefly before being knocked down by Samson, who then worked over the left arm of Ambrose. Moments later, Ambrose hit a neck breaker. Ambrose went to the top rope and went for a dive but Samson caught him with a knee strike for 2. Ambrose rolled him up for 2 then hit a clothesline. This led to The Miz running down to the ring and attacking Samson causing the DQ.
Winner via DQ: Samson.
Post-match, Ambrose went after Miz, but Samson hit Ambrose with his finisher.
We see Big Cass and WWE referees checking on Enzo Amore, who had been attacked in the backstage area.
Amore is awake and talking with medics, Big Cass, and Kurt Angle. Amore had no idea who attacked him. Angle said that they would get to the bottom of this. Big Cass told Angle that Angle better hope he finds out who attacked Amore before he does.
Finn Balor was about to start his promo in the ring but Paul Heyman walked out. He said that if Lesnar faces Wyatt then he will be a victim. Heyman said that if Rollins wins then Lesnar will make him a freaking victim. Heyman said that we then have Reigns, who put The Undertaker down. Heyman said that Reigns is the favorite to win at Extreme Rules and if he does then he will just be Lesnar’s victim. Heyman said that leads him to Balor and Heyman got in the ring. Heyman said that Balor is no one’s victim and that he is no underdog. Heyman said that he sees Balor coming while others don’t. Heyman believes in his heart that Balor is the most talented in-ring performer in WWE today. He said that he looks forward to seeing Lesnar vs. Balor for the WWE Universal Title. Heyman wished him good luck at Extreme Rules and they shook hands. Balor said he wishes Lesnar was here but he is not. Balor told Heyman to give Lesnar a message, which is that he will win at Extreme Rules and that he will go onto face Lesnar for the title that he never lost. Balor said that he would beat Lesnar. This led to Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson walking out to the ring.
Singles Match: Finn Balor vs. Karl Anderson
They lock up and then Anderson hit a clothesline then locked in a headlock. Balor fought out of it and hit a series of strikes. Anderson went to the middle rope and Balor kicked him out of the ring. Balor took out Gallows with a baseball slide. Balor with a kick to Anderson then went for his finisher on Anderson but Anderson moved and hit a spinebuster for 2. Balor hit a double foot stomp that sent Anderson rolling to the floor. Balor hit an outside dive onto Anderson and Gallows. Balor with the Sling Blade, drop kick in the corner and the double foot stomp finisher off the top rope for the win.
It was announced that Rollins and Reigns would team up against Wyatt and Joe tonight. It was also announced that Matt Hardy would face Sheamus tonight.
Singles Match: Sasha Banks vs. Alicia Fox.
They start brawling to begin the match. Banks with a series of strikes then sent hi in the corner where she hit the double knees for the win.
Post-match, Dar was talking trash and Banks slapped him. Fox attacked Banks from behind and hit the scissors kick. Fox stood tall in the ring.
Kalisto and Apollo Crews were talking backstage. Kalisto wanted to know why Crews has so much interested in the Titus O’Neil brand. Kalisto wanted to know if Crews attacked Amore tonight. Crews denied it and said that he was just keeping his options open. O’Neil walked up and thought Kalisto wanted to join his brand. Kalisto said that was not the case. O’Neil said that he messed up and that Crews would wrestle him tonight.
Goldust cut a backstage promo about how he controls when his next film and how the golden age is back.
Alexa Bliss cuts a backstage promo about how she can’t wait to hit Bayley with a kendo stick at Extreme Rules. She said that Bliss can’t get extreme and that she will crush Mickie James’ dreams tonight.
Singles Match: Kalisto vs. Apollo Crews
They lock up and Kalisto hit a headscissors. This led to Crews ducking out to ringside to regroup. Kalisto went for a dive but Crews caught him with a drop kick. Crews went for a powerslam but Kalisto rolled him up for 2. Kalisto hit his finisher for the win.
Singles Match: Matt Hardy vs. Sheamus.
They start brawling and Matt went for the Twist of Fate but Sheamus blocked and ducked to the floor. Sheamus sent him into the barricade twice. Back in the ring, Sheamus hit a clothesline off the top rope for 2. Matt landed a kick then sent him head first into the turnbuckle several times. Sheamus hit a rolling senton for 2.
We’re back with Sheamus in control of Matt, who later fought back with a series of strikes. Sheamus hit White Noise for 2. Jeff got on the apron, which distracted Sheamus. Matt hit a tornado DDT off the middle rope for 2. Matt with a clothesline and then the side effect for 2. Sheamus with a knee strike for 2. Matt ducked out to the floor. Jeff jumped off the apron and landed on Cesaro. Back in the ring, Matt hit Twist of Fate to Sheamus for the win.
Winner: Matt Hardy
Post-match, The Hardy Boyz announced that they would defend the RAW Tag Team Titles against Cesaro and Sheamus inside a steel cage at Extreme Rules.
Singles Match: Austin Aries vs. Tony Nese with Neville at ringside
Aries got the early offense and locked in a leg submission. Nese fought back and went for a suplex but Aries fought out of it and locked in a guillotine choke. However, Nese got out of it. Aries locked in the Last Chancery for the win.
Post-match, Neville attacked Nese and locked in the Rings of Saturn as Aries watched on.
Singles Match: Alexa Bliss vs. Mickie James
They exchanged waist locks they lock up. James with some strikes while having her in a headlock. James with a series of kicks then clotheslines followed by a neck breaker. Bliss with a big right hand then a DDT for the win.
Post-match, Bliss grabbed a kendo stick and hit James with it. Bayley ran down to the ring to make the save and stood tall in the ring to end the segment.
Tag Team Match: Bray Wyatt & Samoa Joe vs. Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns
Joe and Rollins start out the match. Joe pushed Rollins into the corner and tagged in Wyatt. Joe distracted Rollins, who was on the apron, and this allowed Wyatt to sent Rollins into the barricade.
We’re back with Reigns hitting a series of strikes to Wyatt. Wyatt sent Reigns to the floor and Joe attacked him. Back in the ring, Joe put the boots to Reigns. Joe and Reigns brawled to the floor. Reigns sent Joe into the barricade then hit him with the drive by. Wyatt was the legal man. Reigns sent Wyatt to the floor and tagged in Rollins. Rollins and Joe are now legal. Rollins hit a big boot and then the over castle off the middle rope then took out Wyatt with an outside dive. Rollins with the sling blade to Joe. Rollins sent Joe to the floor and hit an outside dive taking them both out. Rollins then hit a double crossbody in the ring. Rollins with a kick to Joe and Reigns accidentally shoulder blocked Rollins. Wyatt pulled Reigns out of the ring while Joe locked in the Coquina Clutch on Rollins, who passed out.
Winners: Bray Wyatt & Samoa Joe
Post-match, Joe and Wyatt had a staredown. Balor congratulated Angle for booking a great main event. Angle booked Balor vs. Wyatt vs. Joe and Rollins vs. Reigns for next week.
