WWE Monday Night RAW 6/12/17 results: Brock Lesnar confronts Samoa Joe, Sheamus & Cesaro vs. The Hardy Boyz

Welcome to WWE Monday Night RAW, there is a recap video of Samoa Joe attacking Paul Heyman last week. Heyman and Brock Lesnar walked down to the ring to open the show. Heyman introduces himself and said that he is here tonight to unleash the beast. Heyman said that it is the day of reckoning for Joe. Heyman brought up Joe attacking him last week. Heyman said that Joe put his hands on Lesnar’s guy and now Lesnar has a problem with Joe, which will be solved. He said that he thought Joe was the worst case scenario for Lesnar and be a worthy challenger. He said that Joe is not a proud warrior that’s going to step up and go against Lesnar but rather he is a punk. He said that Joe’s defining moment was attacking him last week. Heyman said that the choke was horrible and he couldn’t breath. Heyman’s first reaction when he woke up was what if that happens to Lesnar but that will never happen to Lesnar because Joe is not man enough. This led to Joe walking out and having a staredown with Lesnar. Joe headbutted Lesnar and they break out in a brawl. Kurt Angle sent security and WWE officials to separate them but Lesnar took them out. Superstars came out to break them out. Joe broke free and kicked Lesnar in the face. They brawl out to the entrance ramp until they finally separated.

We’re back with highlights from the Joe – Lesnar brawl was shown.

Elias Samson is in the ring to sing us a song about Dean Ambrose being crazy. This led to Ambrose walking out.

Singles Match: Dean Ambrose vs. Elias Samson

They lock up to begin the match. Ambrose landed an elbow strike then sent him to the floor.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Samson in control of Ambrose and hitting a thunderous clothesline. Samson locked in a headlock but Ambrose fought out of it with a series of strikes and clotheslines. Ambrose hit a fisherman’s suplex for 2. Samson blocked a bulldog in the corner and hit a big boot. Ambrose sent him to the floor and hit an outside dive. Ambrose went to the top rope and sent Samson crashing to the floor. The Miz ran down to the ring distract Ambrose and Samson rolled him up for 2. Ambrose hit a clothesline to Samson. Ambrose walked down Miz and chased after him then sent him into the barricade. Samson hit his finisher to Ambrose for the win.

Winner: Samson.

-Commercial Break-

Goldust cuts a backstage promo how R-Truth better buckle up because he has not seen anything yet because the golden age is back.

We see Angle confront The Miz and Maryse backstage asking about him costing Ambrose his match. Miz said that he was just getting back at Ambrose for last week. Miz said that Angle was too busy with his personal problems to deal with Ambrose. Miz said that Angle should get on Ambrose’s case about doing wrong things. Miz wants Angle to fire or suspend Ambrose. Angle said he is not going to do anything and told Miz to handle Ambrose himself.

A video package to hype Cedric Alexander was shown. We see Alexander talking to Noam Dar backstage about how he is over Alicia Fox, who was on the phone. Fox said that Dar would kick Alexander’s face tonight. Alexander said that this would end tonight.

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Noam Dar vs. Cedric Alexander

Dar is still face timing with Fox as he gets into the ring. This led to Alexander to his finisher for the win.

Winner: Alexander.

WWE announced that Roman Reigns has a major announcement regarding SummerSlam.

Bray Wyatt walked down to the ring and cut a promo about how it only took one dose of his truth last week and Seth Rollins’ precious glass house came crumbling down. He said that if you take his name in vain then you would fall. This led to Rollins walking down to the ring and said that Wyatt got upset because he called him a couple of words. Rollins said that everything he called Wyatt was the truth. He said that people who are criticized then they look at themselves. Rollins said that Wyatt doesn’t like that and he likes to keep in the darkness. Rollins said that Wyatt is a coward. Wyatt dared to prove him wrong. Wyatt said that Rollins sees himself as the man but he sees Rollins as a man who is below him. Wyatt said that he doesn’t want this fight because he is stronger than him. The lights went off and Wyatt disappeared then appeared on the big screen. Wyatt said that Rollins may be the kingslayer but a god lives forever.

The Hardy Boyz cut a backstage promo about their upcoming match with Sheamus and cesaro. They said that they have proven several times that they have their number and vowed to win back the RAW Tag Team Championships.

Singles Match: Kalisto vs. Apollo Crews.

Crews takes the early offense. Kalisto battled back with a series of kicks. Crews hit his powerbomb finisher for the win.

Winner: Crews

Post-match, Akira Tozawa, who was at ringside, celebrated with Crews and Titus O’Neil.

We see Heath Slater and Rhyno eating crackers and cheese when The Miz walked up and pointed out that Angle hasn’t given them a showcase. Miz wants them to join his entourage. Slater said that he wanted to be IC Champion. Miz said that if Slater will join him then he would give Slater a shot at the IC Title one day. Rhyno told Miz to get lost and find a partner because they challenge Miz to a match tonight.

-Commercial Break-

Alexa Bliss walked out to the ring and cut a promo about how she was forced to defend her title against Nia Jax next week. She said that she will not defend her title tonight and plugged the women’s MITB match this Sunday. This led to Jax walking out to the ring. Bliss told her that she was thrilled to have a match with her last week and wanted to have a great match but it was ruined by Mickie James and Dana Brooke, who brought up how Bliss said that she would give Jax a title match. Bliss tried to talk her way out of it and said that they would do anything to get attention. This led to Emma walking out and saying that she is back. She wants a shot at the RAW Women’s Title. Sasha Banks then walked out and said that Bliss just wanted the spotlight on her. Banks said that everyone wants a title shot but Bliss just wants to keep talking. Banks then attacked Bliss and a brawl broke out.

-Commercial Break-

Six-Woman Tag Team Match: Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke & Mickie James vs. Alexa Bliss, Nia Jax & Emma.

The match starts during the commercial and we see Emma in control of Brooke. Moments later, Brooke got a hot tag to Banks, who hit a series of moves to Emma. Emma landed a back elbow and went for a tag to Bliss, who ducked off the apron and walked to the back. Banks hit a clothesline to Emma. Jax broke it up. James sent Jax to the floor and hit an outside dive to Jax. Banks hit the Bank Statement to Emma for the win.

Winners: Sasha Banks, Dana Brooke & Mickie James

-Commercial Break-

Bayley was interviewed by Corey Graves backstage. She said, “Ever since I started training…I wrote down in my journal, my first day of training…I want to the the best!” She said that her goal is to be RAW Women’s Champion when she walks into WrestleMania 34. She hugged Graves, who said that he needed a cigarette.

-Commercial Break-

The Miz walked down to the ring for his tag team match. He didn’t have a partner but then the teddy bear wheeled down to the ring on a small bike.

Tag Team Match: Heath Slater & Rhyno vs. The Miz & a teddy bear

Slater rolled up Miz for 2. After doing some mat wrestling, Miz tagged in the bear, who landed a series of strikes to Slater. The bear tagged in Miz, who then attacked the bear. Rhyno tossed Miz into the ring and Slater hit him with a big boot. The bear got back into the ring and hit Slater with Dirty Deeds. Maryse warned Miz that the bear is Ambrose, who was revealed as the bear. Miz knocked Maryse off the apron accidentally. Ambrose hit Dirty Deeds to Miz and had Slater pin Miz for the win.

Winners: Heath Slater & Rhyno

Post-match, Ambrose put the bear head on Miz.

-Commercial Break-

We get a video package to recap the history between Cesaro & Sheamus and The Hardy Boyz.

Neville was supposed to wrestle Rich Swann but Neville attacked him and laid him out. He said that he took out Austin Aries, TJP, and Swann. He asked how many more pretenders does he have to take out before he gets the respect he deserves. He told Tozawa to tread lightly.

Sheamus and Cesaro cut a promo backstage how the would beat The Hardy Boyz and retain the RAW Tag Team Championships.

-Commercial Break-

Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows were waiting in the when we see Big Cass getting up after being attacked. Enzo Amore checked on him but Big Cass said that he would still compete. We see The Revival walking backstage. Gallows and Anderson mocked Big Cass for tripping and being a nerd. Big Cass and Amore still come out to fight.

Tag Team Match: Big Cass and Enzo Amore vs. Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows.

Cass landed a series of strikes to Anderson but was selling the effects of his attack. Amore got the hot tag and landed a series of rights to Anderson. Gallows was tagged in and hit a superkick for the win.

Winners: Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows

Post-match, The Big Show walking out and standing tall with Amore and Cass while Anderson and Gallows walked to the back.

-Commercial Break-

RAW Tag Team Championship Two-Out-Of-Three Falls Match: Sheamus & Cesaro (c) vs. The Hardy Boyz.

They start brawling. Matt hit the side effect and Jeff hit a splash to Sheamus for 2. Cesaro knocked Matt off the apron and Sheamus hit a Brogue Kick to Jeff for the first fall.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Sheamus having Jeff in a headlock. Jeff fought back and kicked Sheamus out of the ring. Matt and Cesaro got the hot tags. Matt with a series of headbutts. Matt with an elbow strike then a DDT off the middle rope for 2. Matt hit the side effect to Sheamus on the apron. Matt with the Twist of Fate for the second fall. We’re all tied up.

Cesaro connected with an uppercut to Matt. Sheamus was tagged in and hit an up kick then a running knee strike for 2. Cesaro was tagged in and locked in the sharpshooter on Matt. Jeff broke it up and Sheamus sent him to the floor. Cesaro locked in the sharpshooter again. Matt got out of it and rolled him up for 2. Jeff and Sheamus got the hot tags. Jeff with a series of right hands then a leg drop. Jeff the Twist of Fate to Sheamus for 2. Matt sent Cesaro to the floor. Jeff hit the swanton bomb on Sheamus but Cesaro pulled Sheamus out of the ring to prevent the three count. Jeff took out Cesaro and Sheamus with a dive off the top rope. The match ended in a double count. It was ruled a draw. Sheamus and Cesaro walked to the back while The Hardy stayed in the ring to close the show.
