WWE Monday Night Raw 7/10/17 results: Great Balls of Fire fallout, Seth Rollins vs. Bray Wyatt

Welcome to WWE Monday Night Raw. There is a recap video of Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns at Great Balls of Fire. Big Cass walked out to the ring to open the show. He showed some photos of him defeating Enzo Amore at GBOF. He then showed footage of Amore being carried through the backstage area by referees. He said that the fans have never supported him and they can’t right now. He told them not to hop on the bandwagon now that they know he is the future of the WWE. He said that one day he will be the Universal Champion and when he wins it, he will shove it down everyone’s throats. He said that he will represent WWE the best that he can because no one can touch him and no one is on his level. He said that no one can look him in the eyes. This led to The Big Show walking out to the ring. Big Show headbutted him then they started brawling. Big Show got the upper hand and Cass retreated to the backstage area.

-Commercial Break-

Elias Samson attempted to sing us a song but was interrupted by Finn Balor.

Singles Match: Finn Balor vs. Elias Samson

They lock up and Samson power slammed him. Balor with a series of right hands but Samson caught him with an elbow. Balor fought back with a dropkick then a head kick and went to the top rope but Samson rolled to the floor.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Samson in control by hitting a suplex for 2. Moments later, Balor fought back with a series of clotheslines and a head kick that sent Samson to the floor. Balor followed up with a drop kick and went for a kick on the apron but Samson caught it and sent him crashing. Samson worked over the left arm of Balor. Balor took him down and stomped him in the chest. Balor with the sling blade and a drop kick in the corner. Balor hit the double foot stomp off the top rope for the win.

Winner: Balor.

After the match, The Hardy Boyz walked out and congratulated Balor. They then walked down to the ring.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with The Hardy Boyz still in the ring. They talked about how they lost to Cesaro and Sheamus at Great Balls of Fire. He said that everyone thinks that they are done and that they should fade away. Matt said that they came out to make a statement, which is that they are nowhere near done. He said that they are here to make magic within the WWE Universe. This led to Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows walking out. They said that they are the ones who said that The Hardys are done. They said that The Hardys are the old brothers and to get out of the ring because that is their ring. Matt said that they are somewhat broken and challenged them to a match right now.

Tag Team Match: The Hardy Boyz vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Matt and Anderson locked up to begin the match. Matt landed a series of right hands. Hardys hit Poetry in Motion and we cut to break.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Anderson and Gallows in control of Jeff. Moments later, Matt got the hot tag and cleaned house. He went for the Twist of Fate but Anderson blocked it. Gallows caught Matt with a kick and they hit their tag team finisher to Matt for the win.

Winners: Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Post-match, The Revival walked out and beat down The Hardy Boyz

-Commercial Break-

The Miz alongside Maryse, Curtis Axel, and Bo Dallas walk down to the ring for Miz TV and to present The Mizzies. Miz gave the first award of the best supporting actor to Dallas and Axel. They thanked The Miz for everything that he has done for them. The second award was given to Maryse for the Mizzie of a beautiful woman. Miz and Maryse thank each other for their support. The final award was given to The Miz for the greatest man of WWE. He said that he will always be the greatest man in WWE. He said that he speaks the truth and that he made the IC Title the most prestigious title in WWE. He predicted that Ambrose would cave under the pressure and he did just that at GBOF. He said that Ambrose is the toughest man in WWE but he beat him. Ambrose walked out to the ring but was attacked by Miz and his group. Seth Rollins ran out to the ring to make the save. Rollins and Ambrose made the save.

-Commercial Break-

We see Ambrose talking with Rollins backstage. He told him to stay out of his business because there is not going to be a Shield reunion.

Tag Team Match: Alexa Bliss & Nia Jax vs. Bayley & Sasha Banks

Jax and Banks started things off. Jax shoved her and Bayley was tagged in. Banks chased after Bliss and they started brawling. Banks hit Jax with a knee and Bayley landed an elbow drop. We cut to break.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Bayley in control of Bliss. Jax got the tag and went for a powerslam but Bayley got out of it. Bayley hit a drop kick then used the middle rope to her advantage. Bliss distracted Bayley and Jax attacked her from behind. Jax and Bliss double teamed her. Bliss hit her finisher on Bayley for 2 but Banks made the save. Jax knocked Banks to the floor but then missed a spear. Bayley rolled up Bliss for the win.

Winners: Bayley & Sasha Banks

-Commercial Break-

Goldust cut a promo about how R-Truth ruined the premiere of his latest film. He has a second movie coming soon.

There is a recap video of Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns at Great Balls of Fire. Michael Cole promised that there would be an update on Strowman.

A trailer for the pre-order bonus character for WWE 2K18 was shown. As noted, Kurt Angle is the pre-order bonus.

Singles Match: Goldust vs. R-Truth

They started brawling to begin the match. Goldust controlled the majority of the match. R-Truth attempted a comeback and hit the leg scissors kick but couldn’t capitalize on it. Goldust sent him into the ring post then hit his finisher for the win.

Winner: Goldust.

-Commercial Break-

Kurt Angle walked out and said that the Ambulance Match between Reigns and Strowman got out of hand. He said that he doesn’t know when Strowman will return after he refused medical attention. He brought out Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman. Angle told Lesnar that he lost some years of his career due to Lesnar. He said that he was wrong in thinking that Samoa Joe would beat Lesnar. Angle has some ideas for Lesnar’s opponent at SummerSlam. Heyman didn’t think that they would have a creative meeting live on Raw. Heyman said that he knows Angle is trying with corporate life and that they would leave him be. This led Reigns walking out to the ring. Reigns praised Angle, Heyman and Lesnar and added that they have gone too far before. He took a shot at Lesnar for never being around. Reigns said that Angle did him a favor by taking out Strowman and that he owes him a favor. Reigns wants Lesnar at SummerSlam. Heyman likes the idea but Lesnar doesn’t think that Lesnar doesn’t deserve it. Matter of fact, he doesn’t deserve sh*t. This led to joe walking out to the ring. Joe said that they are all living in a fantasy land and wants to drag them back to reality. Lesnar said that the reality is that he kicked his ass last night. Joe vowed to put Lesnar to sleep. Joe said that Lesnar didn’t win last night but rather escaped. Joe brought up how Reigns never beat him. Heyman said that Reigns has a case due to him beating The Undertaker and that Joe will never get a title shot. Lesnar and Joe went face-to-face. Joe said that Heyman knows that he is the man who can beat him and that he has his number. Reigns said that Joe doesn’t have his number. Joe reminded Reigns that he lost to Strowman last night. Reigns said that he is here tonight and Strowman isn’t. Angle booked Joe vs. Reigns with the winner challenging Lesnar for the Universal Title at SummerSlam. If Joe and Reigns fight tonight then the match is off.

-Commercial Break-

Angle was talking with Corey Graves backstage. Angle teased that when the news breaks that his career is over and that he might lose his family. Graves told him that he would be just fine.

Tag Team Match: Cedric Alexander & Akira Tozawa vs. Neville & Noam Dar

Neville and Tozawa started things off. Neville knocked him down and put the boots to him in the corner.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back from break with Neville in control of Tozawa. Moments later, Tozawa caught Neville with a kick. Alexander got the hot tag and hit a springboard kick to Neville. Alexander went to the top rope but Neville knocked him down. Neville and Alexander battled on the top rope before Neville fell. Tozawa was tagged in and hit his finisher on Neville for the win.

Winners: Cedric Alexander & Akira Tozawa

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Bray Wyatt vs. Seth Rollins

They started brawling around the ring to start the match. Wyatt took out the left knee of Rollins with a tackle for 2. Rollins fought back and tossed him to the floor. Rollins targeted the right hand of Wyatt. Rollins went for a springboard move but Wyatt countered and we cut to break.

-Commercial Break-

We’re back with Wyatt in control of Rollins. He locked in a headlock then hit a splash in the corner for 2. Wyatt placed him on the top rope but Rollins fought back and missed a dive. Rollins hit a kick to his head then a series of right hands and the slingblade. Rollins hit an outside dive and sent him back into the ring. Rollins hit a springboard clothesline for 2. Rollins hit the blockbuster for 2. Rollins went to the top rope but Wyatt knocked him down. Rollins reversed a move and hit the Falcon Arrow for 2. Wyatt went for Sister Abigail but Rollins blocked it by kicking him in the face. Wyatt then hit Sister Abigail out of nowhere for the win.

Winner: Wyatt.

The lights went out and back on with Wyatt disappearing. This led to Miz, Dallas, and Axel walking out to the ring to attack Rollins. This led to Ambrose running down to the ring to make the save with a chair. He hit Miz with the chair several times.

We see Angle inviting someone to Raw next week so they can announce the news to the whole world together.
