The Usos vs Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker is made for Wrestlepalooza
The Usos both come through the crowd with the crowd yeeting and singing their entrance music. In the ring, Jey said Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker screwed up. This immediately brought out Reed and Breakker to the top of the ramp. Reed asked Jimmy if he’s lost because this isn’t SmackDown. Reed wanted the Usos to acknowledge their Tribal Thief. The crowd chanted for Roman Reigns. Reed said I already dealt with Reigns and now I’m going to deal with the Usos. Jimmy said we went to Adam Pearce and it will be the Usos against Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker.
LA Knight attacked Reed and Breakker. They fought to the outside of the ring. The Usos dove on Reed and Breakker. They fought in the ring. Knight went for the BFT on Reed. Knight threw him into Jey but was able to stop before he crashed into him. Reed charged at them. Knight moved out of the way and Reed hit Jey. Jey and Knight argued with Jimmy separating them.
Backstage:
LA Knight said we should be talking about what I need and what I want. I don’t care about the Uso’s family reunion. He said if Jey Uso thinks I threw Reed into him on purpose. If you think that’s what I would do, I would do it to your face. This isn’t a problem. If you want to make it a problem, I’m not hard to find. I want Bron Breakker or Bronson Reed.
AJ Styles vs El Grande Americano
They fought for several minutes outside the ring before the match started. They got in the ring. Styles clotheslined Americano over the top rope and dove onto him. Styles threw him back into the ring. As he was setting up the phenomenal forearm, another Grande, referred to as Don Grande, clipped Styles from behind. El Grande threw Styles into the ring steps.
As Dos Grande got on the ring apron, Dragon Lee ran down the aisle and pulled him off. El Grande rolled him up but Styles got out of it and hit him with a Styles Clash and pinned him.
Winner: AJ Styles
Backstage:
Adam Pearce told IYO SKY he has to cancel the contract signing but Stephanie Vaquer will be ready for the match at Wrestlepalooza. Pearce left. Nikki Bella told IYO that she and Stephanie will have a great match at Wrestlepalooza. Asuka and Kairi Sane interrupted them. Asuka told Nikki to stay away from IYO. Nikki told her you don’t have to like me, but you will respect me. Asuka laughed and said how about I beat the respect out of you tonight. Nikki accepted her challenge. Nikki and Asuka walked away. Sane tried to talk to IYO but Asuka yelled at IYO saying, let’s go.
Lyra Valkyria vs Raquel Rodriguez (w/Roxanne Perez)
Lyra gave Raquel a powerbomb off the middle rope. As she was getting her up for the Nightwing, Roxanne got on the ring apron. Lyra kicked Roxanne off the apron. As Lyra went to the middle rope, Raquel caught her with the Tejana Bomb and pinned her.
Winner: Raquel Rodriguez
Backstage:
The War Raiders told Penta they have his back. Penta told Adam Pearce he will be Intercontinental Champion. Rusev appeared and told Pearce to follow the plan of him beating Sheamus and then go on to become Intercontinental Champion, but you’re wasting your time with this clown. Penta got in Rusev’s face. Pearce said they can fight each other tonight in the ring.
Backstage:
AJ Styles thanked Dragon Lee and said if there’s anything he needs, he has his back.
Jimmy Uso asked Jey Uso where he was going. Jey said he’s out of here. Jimmy said we have a play to run. It’s LA Knight against Bronson Reed and he needs our help. Jey said I don’t give a damn about their match. That isn’t our problem. Knight tried to get me. Am I supposed to let that slide? Helping LA Knight isn’t going to get us to Wrestlepalooza and it’s not going to help me get my World Heavyweight Championship back. We’re going to make sure they all acknowledge us or we’re going to smash all of them. Jimmy said you’re not sounding like yourself. You’re sounding like Roman. Jey said maybe sounding like myself isn’t working.
CM Punk & AJ Lee vs Seth Rollins Lynch match made for WWE Wrestlepalooza
AJ Lee came to the ring wearing the Women’s Intercontinental Championship belt. The fans chanted, “Welcome back.” She said I retired ten years ago and I was content. I went on a mental health journey because I needed to take care of myself. I was doing well for a really long time. Then I saw Monday Night Raw and Becky Lynch put her hands on my husband.
Becky Lynch made her way half way to the ring. She said this has nothing to do with your husband. Becky was mad because AJ was wearing her belt. AJ said, why don’t you come and get it. Becky asked where is CM Punk?
Lynch wondered where CM Punk and asked what her what kind of man hides behind his wife. She called out Seth Rollins. Rollins entered and told Lee to give her title back to Becky.
Lee offered Lynch a chance to get her try to get her belt now so she could give her another black eye or they could agree to a tag match with her and Punk vs Becky and Rollins.
Rollins said I’m the champion and I call the shots. I’m getting in the ring and getting the belt back for my wife. Rollins stepped into the ring, but Lee stepped over the title and got in his face.
Punk appeared and was about to hit Rollins with a GTS, but Rollins escaped. Rollins was furious and accepted the tag match challenge for Wrestlepalooza. Lynch didn’t like that.
Lee tossed the Intercontinental title belt out of the ring so Lynch could have it back.
Bayley vignette:
Bayley’s voices from her past are still talking to her saying she has to move on and do what’s in her heart. She said, “I’ll make it right.”
Rusev vs Penta
New Day ran out with Waller. Penta took them out with a dive. Rusev blocked another dive by Penta. Penta caught Rusev with a Code Red for a near fall. Woods hopped on the apron but Penta kicked him off. Penta dove over the top rope but Rusev caught him with a kick and pinned him.
Winner: Rusev
Backstage:
Jimmy Uso asked LA Knight if what happened with Jey was an accident. Knight said I moved out of the way and Jey didn’t move. What am I supposed to do about that? Jimmy said you and Jey have beef but put that aside because tonight we have beef with the Vision. Knight said there isn’t a “we”. I’m not interested in anyone’s help anymore. I tried to play nice and got superkicked in the mouth. Jey cost me the World title in the 4-Way match and you cost me the title against Roman Reigns. If you want to help, don’t help because I’m doing this myself.
Nikki Bella vs Asuka (w/Kairi Sane)
Asuka hit a German suplex following the break. Asuka missed a missile dropkick. Nikki fought back with strikes and a springboard kick near fall. Nikki blocked an Asuka Lock and hit an Alabama Slam for a two-count. Asuka hit a spinning kick and applied the Asuka Lock on, causing Nikki to tap out.
Winner: Asuka
They announced next week WWE Monday Night Raw will begin at 7 PM ET. On the show will be
- AJ Lee & CM Punk go face-to-face with Becky Lynch & Seth Rollins
- Lyra Valkyria vs. Roxanne Perez
- John Cena appears
Backstage:
Judgment Day met backstage. Finn Balor and JD McDonagh wondered where Dom was all night. Dom said he’s been preparing for his match at World’s Collide for the AAA Championship. Finn didn’t like Dom hanging out with El Grande Americano and said nobody lends a helping hand without expecting something in return. Dom said it was a Lucha thing and they didn’t understand. Dom said maybe he wouldn’t need a hand if they didn’t get banned last week and walked off. Roxanne said she’s going to go talk to him.
Backstage:
Nikki Bella and Asuka argued backstage with Kairi Sane holding Asuka back. Nikki pushed her. Rhea Ripley showed up and asked Asuka if we have a problem here. Asuka said yes and pointed to Nikki and Rhea. She said I’m the top woman in WWE and walked off. Kairi again stayed behind and Asuka yelled at her to get moving.
LA Knight vs Bronson Reed (w/Bron Breakker)
Reed missed a splash into the turnbuckle. Knight tried to give Reed the jumping neck breaker but Reed grabbed the top rope to block it. Reed missed a senton on Knight. Knight hit a flying elbow off the top rope for a two-count. Breakker got on the ring apron. Knight went for the BFT but Reed pushed him off which sent him into Breakker who fell to the mat. Knight turned around and Reed hit him with the Jagged Edge and was pinned.
Winner: Bronson Reed
After the match, Reed and Breakker double-teamed Knight. Jimmy Uso charged into the ring. Breakker hit him with a spear and tossed Knight out of the ring. Jey Uso came to the ring. He was getting the better of Reed and Breakker until Breakker hit him with a spear. Breakker moved the Usos to the corner. As Reed went to the top rope to deliver the Tsunami, Knight hit him with a chair and threw it at Breakker’s head. Knight helped Jimmy to his feet. Jey then hit Knight with a spear which the crowd booed him for doing.
