WWE Raw Results: Gunther Issues Career-Ending Ultimatum to AJ Styles
The show opened live from the SSE Arena in Belfast with Michael Cole and Corey Graves on commentary. Gunther made his way to the ring, wearing a massive smile following his controversial victory over AJ Styles last week.
Gunther urged the crowd to calm down, claiming Styles made a fatal error last week by focusing so intently on the submission that he forgot he was in the ring with the “greatest wrestler in WWE.” Gunther declared his future bright, officially announcing his entry into the Royal Rumble match. He reminded the audience of his dominance, citing his record-setting performance of lasting 1 hour, 11 minutes, and 46 seconds in a previous Rumble.
AJ Styles interrupted, telling Gunther he refuses to move on. Styles demanded a rematch at the Royal Rumble. Gunther laughed off the challenge, stating he plans to win the Rumble and has no intention of pulling double duty. Styles fired back, accusing Gunther of being scared because he knows he didn’t truly win. Styles reiterated that Gunther tapped out “like a little bitch.”
Gunther feigned leaving but returned to the ring with a counter-offer. He told Styles to shut up and listen: he will grant the rematch at the Royal Rumble, but only if AJ Styles puts his career on the line. Gunther told Styles to decide if this is a hill worth dying on and demanded an answer by the end of the night.
Backstage: Natalya Aligns with Maxxine Dupri
Backstage, Maxxine Dupri was preparing for her title opportunity when Natalya arrived. Natalya offered to be in Maxxine’s corner to ensure “the same thing doesn’t happen again,” referencing Becky Lynch’s use of the ropes to win their previous encounter.
Before the match, Becky Lynch delivered a scathing heel promo to her home country crowd. She claimed it was “nice” to be home only because it reminded her why she left: the awful food and the terrible weather. She bragged about being rich and famous enough to leave Ireland behind, unlike the fans. She took a shot at Rory McIlroy, promising not to “lose on the last hole.”
Match Number One: Becky Lynch vs. Maxxine Dupri
Women’s Intercontinental Championship
The match began with Lynch using aggressive tactics, tossing Dupri into the barricades and utilizing the ring environment to her advantage. Dupri fought back valiantly, using her athleticism to hit a cannonball and a fisherman’s suplex. The action intensified with a series of submission trades, including Dupri’s ankle lock and Lynch’s Dis-Arm-Her.
Lynch eventually exposed a turnbuckle pad while arguing with the referee. In the closing moments, Dupri connected with a massive round kick and went for the cover. The referee counted one… two… but Natalya placed Becky Lynch’s foot on the bottom rope, breaking the count.
A shocked Maxxine stared at Natalya in disbelief. Lynch capitalized on the distraction, hitting a Uranage (Man-Handle Slam) to secure the victory.
Winner and STILL Women’s Intercontinental Champion: Becky Lynch
Post-Match Attack
Immediately after the bell, Natalya attacked Maxxine Dupri. She delivered a double-leg takedown and rained down punches before hitting a thrust kick. Natalya screamed, “You are never going to learn!” before locking Dupri in the Sharpshooter. Despite the referee’s pleas, Natalya continued the assault as the segment ended.
WWE Raw Results: Backstage Developments & The Vision vs. LWO
Backstage: Adam Pearce, AJ Styles, and Paul Heyman
Adam Pearce spoke with AJ Styles regarding Gunther’s ultimatum. Pearce assured Styles that he is under no obligation to accept a challenge that puts his career on the line. Styles remained conflicted and stated he needed to call his wife to discuss it.
After Styles left, Paul Heyman approached Pearce. Following some sarcastic pleasantries about Pearce having a “good week,” Heyman inquired about the status of Bron Breakker. Pearce confirmed that Breakker remains suspended. Heyman then pivoted, asking about booking an arena in London for future business before heading out to manage his team. Pearce warned Heyman that The Vision must be on their best behavior and announced he would be ringside to ensure it.

The Judgment Day: Title Aspirations
In their locker room, The Judgment Day discussed their championship goals. Raquel Rodriguez claimed Stephanie Vaquer is not medically cleared and vowed to destroy her when she eventually gets her title match. Bálor declared that they are on “his island” and refused to leave without the World Heavyweight Championship.

Pearce settled the dispute by announcing a Fatal Four-Way Match next week, with the winners earning a future Tag Team Championship opportunity.
Match Number Two: The Vision (Logan Paul, Austin Theory, & Bronson Reed) vs. The LWO (Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, & Penta El Zero Miedo)
Adam Pearce sat ringside for this match.
The match began with technical exchanges between Austin Theory and Dragon Lee, followed by a showboating contest between Logan Paul and Penta. The action quickly escalated with The Vision using their size and strength advantages to isolate Rey Mysterio and later Dragon Lee.
The LWO rallied with high-flying offense, including a synchronized sequence of flip dives and an Asai Moonsault to the outside. The match broke down into chaos with near falls and heavy strikes.
The Finish:
With the referee distracted by Paul Heyman and Adam Pearce arguing on the apron, Logan Paul attempted to toss brass knuckles to Austin Theory. Pearce intercepted the weapon, taking them away from Theory. As Pearce placed the knuckles on the mat to argue with Heyman, Rey Mysterio seized the opportunity.
Mysterio grabbed the knuckles and punched Theory. Penta followed up immediately with a Canadian Destroyer on Theory to secure the pinfall victory.
Winners: Rey Mysterio, Dragon Lee, and Penta El Zero Miedo

Backstage: Paul Heyman and Adam Pearce
Paul Heyman chased down General Manager Adam Pearce. Heyman told Pearce that everyone would miss him on Raw “after he is gone,” implying Pearce’s job might be in jeopardy. Heyman then handed Pearce a phone, advising him that he “might want to take this call.”
In-Ring Segment: Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, and The Judgment Day
Women’s Tag Team Champions Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky entered the ring. Ripley addressed their title defense this Saturday against Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez, confidently stating they would retain. Ripley also announced that after they win on Saturday, both she and Iyo Sky will enter the Royal Rumble match.
Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez interrupted. Morgan called the champions delusional and warned Sky that Ripley eventually turns her back on all her partners, citing her own history with Ripley. She predicted Ripley’s selfishness would leave her with nothing. Perez added that she, Liv Morgan, and Raquel Rodriguez are all officially entered in the Royal Rumble as well.
Ripley mocked Morgan, suggesting she was projecting her own insecurities. The verbal sparring turned physical when Raquel Rodriguez ambushed Ripley. Perez chop-blocked Sky, allowing Morgan to hit a Codebreaker followed by a Tejana Bomb from Rodriguez on Sky. Ripley attempted to fight back but was overwhelmed by the numbers game, ultimately falling to ObLIVion from Morgan.
Backstage: Bayley and Lyra Valkyria
Backstage, a dejected Lyra Valkyria paced behind Bayley. Lyra admitted she was finding it hard to stay positive and hated letting her friend down. Bayley reassured Lyra that she could never let her down, noting that neither of them was pinned in their previous match. They agreed to focus on the Royal Rumble, with both women declaring their intention to win, restoring their positive vibes.
Match Number Three: Je’Von Evans vs. El Grande Americano (w/ Los Americanos)
The match began with a clash of styles, as El Grande Americano (Ludwig Kaiser) tried to ground the high-flying rookie with technical wrestling and disrespectful slaps. Je’Von Evans responded with his signature agility, executing a series of counters, including a sunset flip and a slingshot head scissors that sent Grande reeling.
The numbers game quickly came into play as Bravo Americano created a distraction, allowing Grande to take control with a stiff kick. The action spilled to the floor, where Evans utilized the barricade to evade Rayo and Bravo before connecting with a springboard clothesline on Grande.
However, the match came to an abrupt and confusing end. While Grande regrouped in the ring, demanding a microphone and disrespectfully throwing Evans’ shirt to the mat, the referee checked on Evans at ringside. Evans was clutching his wrist in apparent pain, seemingly unable to continue. The referee called for the bell, awarding the match to El Grande Americano via referee stoppage. Evans appeared to be favoring his right shoulder as he walked to the back.
Winner: El Grande Americano (via Medical Disqualification)

After Heyman left, Pearce asked AJ Styles if he had made a decision regarding Gunther’s ultimatum. Styles revealed that he spoke to his wife, who gave him simple advice: “Kick Gunther’s ass.”

A shameful Sane apologized and promised to do “anything” to ensure Asuka wins the Royal Rumble. Asuka patted her head, calling her a “good girl,” but warned Sane not to make her yell again.
WWE Raw Results: Punk Retains in Belfast Thriller
Match Number Four: CM Punk (c) vs. Finn Bálor
World Heavyweight Championship
In the main event, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk defended his title against Finn Bálor in what was effectively a home game for the challenger in Belfast. The match began with technical grappling, but the intensity quickly ratcheted up. After Punk sent Bálor to the floor, he connected with a suicide dive that launched the challenger over the announce table. Punk took a moment to pose atop the table, channeling Bloodsport’s Chong Li, while Bálor barely beat the referee’s count.
The champion controlled the middle portion of the match, targeting Bálor’s neck and back. However, Bálor fought back with a Pele Kick and a double stomp. The match turned into a war of attrition. Bálor countered a sunset flip with a dropkick and later hit a flip dive to the outside.
The Climax:
The final minutes were filled with heart-stopping near falls. Bálor missed a Coup de Grâce when his injured knee gave out, allowing Punk to hit the GTS. Shockingly, Bálor kicked out. Punk transitioned into the Anaconda Vice, but Bálor managed to reach the ropes.
Bálor mounted a furious comeback, hitting a Sling Blade and two running dropkicks into the corner. He finally connected with the Coup de Grâce, but Punk kicked out at the last millisecond, silencing the Belfast crowd. Desperate, Bálor attempted a rollup, but Punk rolled through the momentum, hoisted Bálor up, and delivered a second, decisive GTS to secure the three-count.
Winner and STILL World Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk
Post-Match:
After the bell, a battered CM Punk approached Bálor. He offered his hand, which Bálor accepted. Punk raised Bálor’s hand in a show of respect, hugged him, and shared a few private words with the challenger as the show went off the air.
