The show opened up with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio entering the ring.Morgan said Nikki Bella is sitting at home all beat up. Nikki didn’t pave the wave for me as I paved my own way. Now I’m demanding a rematch for my Women’s World Championship that I never received. IYO SKY came out and accepted Morgan’s challenge. Morgan told her you can hand over the title. IYO threw the title at Morgan and kicked her as she was trying to catch it. IYO then kicked Dominik in the back of the head.
Queen of the Ring first round match: Stephanie Vaquer vs Asuka vs Raquel Rodriguez vs Ivy Nile
Rodriguez gave Vaquer a Tijuana Bomb. Rodriguez followed up with a pin attempt, but Rhea Ripley showed up and broke up the pin by pulling Rodriguez out of the ring. Ripley gave Rodriguez the Ripcord outside the ring onto the mat, threw her back into the ring, and pinned her. Asuka gave Rodriguez the Empress Impact and pinned her. After the match, Asuka said the fire is still alive and will be Queen of the Ring.
Winner: Asuka
Liv Morgan invited Raquel Rodriguez to join her in discussing strategy, but Raquel explained she wasn’t medically cleared to do anything else today. Liv nodded and said she’d take care of it on her own before walking off. Meanwhile, Dominik Mysterio mentioned that AJ Styles is breathing down his neck for the Intercontinental Title and instructed JD McDonagh to deal with him. Finn Balor offered to have JD’s back during the match, but Dominik reminded him that he couldn’t get the job done against Styles a couple weeks ago. He suggested Balor stay behind and hold things down instead. Balor agreed—and countered that Dominik should be the one watching JD’s back.
Afterward, Balor reassured Rodriguez not to let Liv’s words get to her and told her she was doing great. He then pulled Roxanne Perez aside, telling her he had an idea despite Liv’s insistence on handling things solo, and the two walked off together.
Gunther said Seth Rollins won the Money in the Bank and I have what he wants. He said he can make this easy for him as I’m right here for you. Goldberg’s music played as he made his way to the ring. Goldberg said a few months ago, you started something with me and my family in Atlanta, GA, and I’m going to end it in Atlanta on July 12th on Saturday Night’s Main Event because you’re next.
AJ Styles vs JD McDonagh (w/ Dominik Mysterio)
Styles hit the Styles clash on McDonagh and pinned him. After the match, Dominik ran in and was met by a Pele kick by Style. Styles set up Dominik for the Phenomenal Forearm, which led to Balor pulling Dominik out of the ring as Styles walked off with the Intercontinental belt.
Winner: AJ Styles
Bayley said two months ago, I was robbed of a WrestleMania match to fight for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. When Becky took me out, it made me stronger. You have always been two rungs above me and that ate away but I’m climbing that ladder and I’m taking everything away from you, so get out here. Becky Lynch came out. Lynch told Bayley that neither one of them were supposed to be at the top, but you accepted being second fiddle while I didn’t. Becky said you can have a match with me, but not for the title and not tonight. Following that, Becky slapped Bayley and Bayley punched Becky, sending her out of the ring.
Jey Uso said me and Rusev have both beaten each other and have gained each other’s respect. He can look past Goldberg and Seth Rollins, but I’m going to win King of the Ring and we’re going to run it back one more time.
Nick Aldis took back the Intercontinental Championship from AJ Styles, but gave AJ a title match Dominik Mysterio at Night of Champions. Aldis then granted Bayley an opportunity to challenge Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Title next week.
Lyra Valkyria congratulated Bayley. Following that, Bayley apologized for being distant lately, admitting she’d been dealing with personal struggles and is now focused on looking out for herself. Valkyria said she understood, but added that if Bayley wins the title, she plans to prioritize herself too.
Liv Morgan vs Kairi Sane
Sane took Morgan down with a leg drop early in the match with Morgan landing on her arm. As a result of this, the match was stopped. Shortly afterwards, Michael Cole announced that she suffered a dislocated shoulder.
Sami Zayn said he has spoken about winning the World Championship before, but this time it feels different. Karrion Kross came up to Zayn and said there is nothing different about this. You’re going to SmackDown to face Randy Orton and you’re going to lose. He is going to go on to become a 15-time world champion while you stay at zero. Zayn said I think you’re a coward because you don’t go out there. You stay back here because when you go out there, you can’t back it up. My priority is to win King of the Ring. When that’s over, I’m going to go to Adam Pearce and we’re going to have a match between us. Kross said it’s about time.
King of the Ring first round match: Sheamus vs Rusev vs Bronson Reed (w/ Paul Heyman) vs Jey Uso
As Jey Uso made his way to the top rope, Bron Breakker showed up and pushed him off. Sami Zayn appeared out of nowhere and attacked Breakker. Zayn went for the Helluva Kick on Breakker outside the ring, but Breakker caught him and threw him over the announce table. Penta ran into the ring and dove over the top rope onto Breakker. Inside the ring, Reed gave Jey the Death Valley Driver. As Bronson made his way to the top rope to deliver a Tsunami, LA Knight pushed Reed off the ropes sending him to the canvas. Jey hit Reed with a superkick and gave him a spear. Following this, Jey hit him with an Uso splash. He gave him a second splash and pinned him.
Winner: Jey Uso
Following the match, Seth Rollins made his way to the ring, seemingly intent on attacking Jey Uso. Before he could make a move, Cody Rhodes rushed in, forcing Rollins to back off. Cody and Jey shook hands to end the show.
