John Cena – Dominik Mysterio Intercontinental match is made for tonight

Monday Night Raw starts off with Triple H in the ring. He said when he breaks it down from every category, he believes John Cena is the greatest of all-time. He then introduced John Cena to his hometown crowd.

John Cena came to the ring and thanked the people. Cena said his goal is to leave this business better than he found it. Tonight the Last Time Is Now Tournament starts tonight. He announced his last performance is December 13th at Saturday Night’s Main Event. The show will also have main roster talent to host exhibition matches against the best from NXT.

Dominik Mysterio interrupted Cena by coming to the ring. Cena told him that any other night, he would give him a chance, but tonight is the wrong place, wrong time, wrong guy. Out of the respect I have for your father, I’ll let you turn around and walk your ass back through that curtain. Dominik said I’m not even at my peak yet and I’m better than you in your prime. He said at any time, any place, any era, I would have whooped your ass. 

Triple H said tonight is a great time for this match, so he ordered Dominik to defend the Intercontinental Championship against John Cena.

Intercontinental Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio (Champion) vs John Cena

Cena hit Dominik with the five knuckle shuffle. Dominik blocked the AA and shoved Cena into the ring post. He then exposed the metal turnbuckle. Dominik grabbed a chair from outside the ring. While the referee was checking the turnbuckle, Dominik slammed the chair on the mat and he went down so the referee would think Cena hit him with it. However, Cena also went down. The referee turned around and saw both men down. The referee grabbed the chair and Dominik tried to pull it from him. Cena got Dominik up in the AA but Dominik pushed off and his legs hit the referee which knocked him down. 

Cena caught Dominik in the STF and tapped but the ref was still down. Dominik grabbed the belt from outside the ring. He tried to hit Cena with it, Cena ducked, and hit him with an AA. Another ref came in and counted two. Dominik hit Cena with a 619 and followed it up with a frog splash. Cena rolled through it, hit Dominik with an AA, and pinned him to win the title.

Winner and new Intercontinental Champion: John Cena

Backstage:

The locker room congratulated John Cena, including Rey Mysterio and Cody Rhodes who shook his hand.

Last Time Is Now Tournament Match: Damian Priest vs. Rusev

Rusev hit Priest with a series of kicks to his chest. Priest came back with kicks of his own. Rusev blocked the South of Heaven by poking him in his bad eye. He then gouged Priests eye, hit the Monsta Kick, and pinned him.

Winner: Rusev

Backstage:

  • AJ Styles and Dragon Lee still have not come up with a name for their team
  • Maxxine Dupri said she is now wants to fight Becky Lynch. Pearce said she can face Becky next week for her Intercontinental Championship. After Pearce left, Becky sucker punched Maxxine and told her she won’t have a chance next week.

CM Punk/Cody Rhodes/Jey Uso- The Vision brawl

CM Punk challenged Logan Paul to come out here and face the ass-whooping he deserves. Paul came out of the entrance way. Logan said after taking the Tsunami last week, his eyes have been opened to a whole new vision. The Vision came out and stood by Logan. Paul Heyman told Punk that he is the most unlikable person he’s ever met. He could not be more unlikable unless his name was AJ Lee. Punk said if she was here, she would drop all of them, but since she’s not here, I’ll take on all of you know.

As the Vision circled the ring, Jey Uso got in the ring to help Punk. Cody Rhodes then hit the ring and both teams brawled with each other. Logan was thrown into the barricade. Cody hit Bron Breakker with a chair to the stomach. Punk hit Bronson with a chair. Cody and Jey then clotheslined Bronson over the ring and the heels left the ring area.

Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer (w/ Nikki Bella) vs Raquel Rodriguez (w/ Roxanne Perez)

Nikki stopped Roxanne from attacking Stephanie while the referee was checking on Raquel. Raquel missed a dive off the ropes and Stephanie caught her in the Devil’s Kiss. She then hit the corkscrew moonsault on Raquel and pinned her to retain the championship.

Winner and still World Women’s Champion: Stephanie Vaquer

After the match, Roxanne attacked Stephanie from behind. Nikki came in and hit Roxanne. As Roxanne and Stephanie left the ring, Nikki turned on Stephanie and hit her with the belt.

Backstage:

CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Jey Uso were backstage with Raw GM Adam Pearce. Punk said he has his team and he is ready to go to war. Pearce said, are you saying what I think you’re saying. Punk yelled, “Regal.” William Regal entered and said, “War Games”

Last Time Is Now Tournament Match: Sheamus vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura got out of the way of the Brogue Kick and hit Sheamus with a Sling Blade. Nakamura blocked a White Noise off the top rope and nailed Sheamus with a powerbomb for a near fall. Sheamus blocked the Kinshasa and hit Nakamura with the Brogue Kick and pinned him. They hugged after the match.

Winner: Sheamus

Backstage:

Adam Pearce drew next week’s matches for the Last Time Is Now Tournament. It will be Je’Von Evans vs Gunther. For the next match, he drew Solo Sikoa and said he will reveal the name of his opponent next week.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss (Champions) vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane)

Asuka caught Charlotte in the Asuka lock. Charlotte escaped but got trapped in the arm bar. Charlotte reversed it into a Boston Crab. Asuka escaped it and kicked Charlotte in the head. Charlotte locked the figure 4 on Asuka. Sane came off the top rope to break it up, but Bliss caught her and gave her the Sister Abigail. Charlotte turned it into the Figure 8 on Asuka. Nia Jax and Lash Legend broke it up when the referee was distracted. Asuka held Charlotte while Sane came off the top rope with the Insane Elbow and pinned her to win the titles.

Winners and new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions: The Kabuki Warriors 

After the match, Jax and Legend attacked Bliss and Charlotte. They stared down the Kabuki Warriors until both teams beat up Bliss and Charlotte. IYO SKY ran into the ring and fended off the heels, but they overpowered her. Rhea Ripley hit the ring wearing a face mask and help the babyfaces finally fend off the heels to end the show
