Bron Breakker vs Penta

Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and Paul Heyman made their way to the ring. Rollins mentioned that LA Knight kept pushing him and pushing him and that’s why Reed hit him with multiple Tsunamis. Jey Uso, Randy Orton, LA Knight and everybody else are in second place. The Money in the Bank is the end game.

Bron Breakker (w/Paul Heyman) vs Penta 

Breakker charged up the top rope to give Penta a Frankensteiner for a near fall. Penta managed to come back and give Breakker a superkick and a DDT. He followed this up with a Mexican Destroyer and went for the pinfall, but Breakker managed to kick out at the count of two. With Penta flying off the middle rope, Breakker caught him with a spear and pinned him. Seth Rollins and Bronson Reed came down to congratulate Breakker. Before leaving, Rollins warned Penta to stay out of his way.

Winner: Bron Breakker

General Manager Adam Pearce informed AJ Styles that Dominik Mysterio is injured and unable to compete. Although Styles questioned the legitimacy of the injury, Pearce reassured him that it’s authentic, citing official medical documentation. As a result, their scheduled match at Night of Champions has been canceled, but Pearce promised Styles he’ll get his opportunity once Dominik returns.

Adam Pearce told The New Day that they will defend their tag team titles next week against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh.

Michael Cole interviews Goldberg

Michael Cole had a sit down interview earlier in the week with Goldberg. Goldberg said I took my family to a WWE event a few months ago and Gunther started verbally assaulting me. He embarrassed me in front of my wife, kids, and fans in my hometown of Atlanta. As I’m vying for my retirement match and wondering who my opponent is going to be, he stepped up and put himself into that spot. As long as I’m breathing, he is going to pay and I’m going to beat him at Saturday Night’s Main Event. 

After the interview, Michael Cole said he also asked Goldberg if this is definitely his retirement match, and Goldberg said yes. He then asked Goldberg what if he wins the World Heavyweight Championship, Goldberg said that’s an interesting dilemma. 

Finn Balor pumps up The Judgment Day

Finn Balor gave a pep talk for The Judgment Day. He rallied the squad with by telling Dominik Mysterio to stay sharp and be ready to take down AJ Styles once he’s cleared to return. To Roxanne Perez, he gave a vote of confidence ahead of her Queen of the Ring semifinal against Jade Cargill, telling her she’s destined to win tonight. He assured JD McDonagh they will capture the tag team titles next week. Balor reminded Raquel Rodriquez that she’s a champion, and champions don’t get pushed around. He urged her to stand tall against Rhea Ripley and step up as the group’s enforcer.

Bayley – Valkyria backstage

Lyra Valkyria told Bayley good luck tonight. Bayley told her I didn’t know that I needed your permission to get a title match. When I beat Becky tonight, you’re first in line. In the background was Becky Lynch listening to this before walking off. 

Queen of the Ring Semifinal Match: Jade Cargill vs Roxanne Perez

Jade blocked the Pop Rocks and gave her a power bomb. Jade followed that up and gave Perez the Jaded and pinned her. Asuka came out after the match and had a face to face with Cargill.

Winner: Jade Cargill

Rusev confronted Sheamus. Rusev said I see you are still pretending to be everybody’s friend. You smile to their face and stick a knife in their back. Sheamus said I walk alone. I remember you being the most embarrassing and egotistical member of the League of Nations. It’s time to put up or shut up. Rusev said I’m going to make you new memories.

Gunther interview:

Gunther said Goldberg was the most destructive man of his generation, but it is not 1999 anymore. It’s 2025 and I’m the guy. I’m the best professional wrestler in this company and the World Heavyweight Championship around my waist proves it. I see a 58-year old one trick pony that can’t lace my boots. I want to apologize to your wife and your son for everything I’m going to do to the man that used to be Goldberg. I’m unlike anybody you ever stepped in the ring with. It’s my responsibility to make sure the legacy and the myth of Bill Goldberg dies forever.

Backstage:

Becky Lynch said she just witnessed Bailey and Lyra conspiring to work together because they know that’s the only way they can get this title off me. 

Following this, Sami Zayn was asked how he is processing his loss from last week. Karrion Kross interjected himself and said what happened was exactly what I said was going to happen. When are you going to realize you’re never going to be World Heavyweight Champion? Zayn said okay and punched Kross in the mouth. Zayn told him I’m done talking to you. I talked to Adam Pearce. Our match is official. Zayn walked away and Kross laughed.

WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Becky Lynch (champion) vs Bayley

Becky buried Bayley under a pile of steel chairs behind the announce table and crawled back in the ring. Lyra Valkyria came to Bayley’s rescue and pulled her out. Becky went outside the ring and hit Lyra before getting back in. Lyra jumped on the ring apron and begged Lyra to hit her which would result in a disqualification. Lynch took out Lyra with a baseball slide. Bayley threw Becky over the announce table and slammed her against the ring post and ring barricade before throwing her back in the ring. As Bayley made her way to the top rope, Lyra jumped in the ring to attack Becky, causing the referee to call for the bell. Bayley argued with Lyra for costing her the match.

Winner by DQ: Becky Lynch

Chad Gable – Penta backstage confrontation 

Backstage, Chad Gable told Ivy Nile she should have won Money in the Bank, but you had Stephanie Vaquer in your way. Next time you have someone in your way, do what I did to Rey Mysterio and Otis and that’s wipe them out completely. Gable interrupted his conversation with Nile when he saw Penta backstage. He told Penta it was my pleasure watching Bron Breakker destroy you earlier tonight. Maybe I’ll finish the job and rip that mask off. Penta hit him with a kick to the jaw and gave him the armbreaker.

Raquel Rodriguez calls out Rhea Ripley

Raquel Rodriguez told Rhea Ripley to come to the ring to take the beating she deserves for costing her the Queen of the Ring. Ripley charged to the ring and they brawled inside and outside the ring. Ripley set up the table that Raquel brought into the ring. As Rhea was getting ready to give Raquel the Riptide onto the table, Roxanne Perez jumped onto Ripley’s back. Ripley slammed Perez into the turnbuckle. Following this, Raquel gave Ripley a Tejana Bomb through the table to end the segment. 

King of the Ring Semifinal Match: Cody Rhodes vs Jey Uso

Jey Uso hit a spear on Cody. As he climbed to the top rope, Cody sprung up and gave him a Cody Cutter off the top rope. Cody followed this up by hitting the Cross Rhodes on Jey and pinned him. They shook hands and hugged after the match.

Winner: Cody Rhodes
