Daniel Bryan and Rowan vs. The Usos
This was a non-title match. Jimmy and Jey hit the double splash and that allowed Jimmy to pin Daniel Bryan. It looks like The Usos will get a title shot in the near future.
Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match
Participants: Natalya, Dana Brooke, Naomi, Nikki Cross, Bayley, Mandy Rose, Carmella, Ember Moon
They teased that Mandy Rose would win due to help from Sonya Deville. Deville put Rose on her back and helped her up the ladder but they were shoved off by Bayley. Bayley grabbed the briefcase so she can cash in for a title opportunity any time in the next 365 days.
Backstage, Sami Zayn complained about Braun Strowman. Triple H said Strowman is not in the area because he is banned from the building. Zayn wanted protection. Triple H suggested for Zayn to tape up his fist and to get out of the office.
WWE United States Championship
Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio
This had a weird ending. It was a quick match. Joe attempted a powerbomb but Mysterio turned it into a roll up and he pinned Joe to win the title. Only thing is Joe’s shoulder was clearly up and the announcers pointed that out. Joe then attacked Mysterio with Dominick looking concerned at ringside.
Steel Cage Match
The Miz vs. Shane McMahon
This was a pretty good match. The last minute of the match was Miz trying to super plex McMahon off the top of the cage but McMahon slipped out of his shirt and fell to the ground so he wins and the feud will continue.
Backstage, officials discovered Sami Zayn hanging on a fence. It looks like Strowman took him out.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship
Tony Nese vs. Ariya Daivari
Fans were not into this match until the very end. Neese retained his title.
Backstage, Triple H asked Strowman to leave. Strowman said he had nothing to do with whatever happened to Zayn earlier.
WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch vs. Lacey Evans
Lynch retained the title against Evans after turning a roll-up pin attempt into the Disarm-Her. It was a weird ending because it looked like Evans had the pin but the referee did not count. Tom Phillips said the referee may have thought Lynch’s shoulder was up but Corey Graves disagreed.
Charlotte Flair walked out and she wanted her match to happen right away. Lynch agreed.
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
Flair won the match but there was a bigger story after the match. Evans and Flair attacked Lynch after the match. Bayley ran in for the save and ended up cashing in on Flair with the diving elbow and pin. Click here for more details on what went down during the match and cash-in.
Backstage, Elias nailed Roman Reigns with a guitar on his back.
Roman Reigns vs. Elias
Elias performed a song and then walked up towards the backstage area but Roman caught him with a Superman punch. They made it back to the ring and Reigns won with the spear. Quick match.
WWE Universal Championship
Seth Rollins vs. AJ Styles
This was an awesome match with tons of near falls and the crowd was into everything. Rollins retained the title after countering the Phenomenal Forearm with the ripcord knee and the stomp. Rollins and Styles shook hands in the ring after the match.
Backstage interview with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Kofi said he would be going out by himself.
Lucha House Party walked out for a bonus match, I guess. Lars Sullivan’s music played and he walked out. He basically destroyed all three members of Lucha House Party. Sullivan’s head was busted open pretty bad apparently after headbutting Kalisto.
Kofi Kingston vs. Kevin Owens
Very good match. Kingston retained the title with Trouble In Paradise after Owens tried for a Swanton off the top but Kingston got his knees up. Click here for more on this match.
Men’s Money In The Bank ladder match
Participants: Ricochet, Sami Zayn, Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin, Finn Balor, Ali, Randy Orton, Andrade
This match had tons of crazy ladder spots. The end was Brock Lesnar walking out and taking out Ali and grabbing the briefcase. Lesnar apparently was able to enter the match as Sami Zayn’s replacement. Click here for more details on what went down during this match.
