Earlier this week, WWE finally announced a free tier of their streaming service, WWE Network.
This allows fans without a subscription to have access to a vast portion of its content library for free with no credit card required.
Content such as original series, Raw Talk, recent episodes of WWE’s flagship programs, select historical WWE pay-per-views and NXT TakeOver events, and more are available.
Pwinsider.com reports that WWE has dropped the long-standing offer to fans of signing up for the network with the first-month subscription being free.
Thus, it appears that due to the introduction of the free tier of the streaming service, the free month for new subscribers is no longer being used.
It makes sense as since free subscribers can sample the network as much as they like going forward, they’ll have plenty of time to decide whether they want to sign up and pay for the $9.99 per month paid version.
