WWE Network tiered pricing plans will be implemented in the next 12 months

As noted on the WWE investor conference call, the tiered pay plan for the WWE Network is coming sometime within the next 12 months.

The plan is to launch a free tier with limited content. There are also plans to launch a VIP tier with extra content, such as programming from independent promotions like EVOLVE. This would be similar to UFC Fight Pass that airs their own content along with content from other MMA promotions.

If WWE sticks to ideas that they’ve been considering since 2016, the $9.99 plan would remain as it is now with limited commercials. The free plan would include full commercials and there would be no commercials in the VIP plan. PROGRESS and ICW are two of the promotions that have been in talks with WWE in the last couple of years so they would be likely added as part of the VIP plan.

WrestlingNews.co first reported about the tiered pricing plans in 2016. There will likely be some changes and additions but here is what was proposed in a survey back in 2016:
