On Monday, WWE announced that they would be unlocking a large portion of their streaming service, WWE Network, for a limited time to allow fans to check out their library for free.
However, if you live in Saudi Arabia, then fans are unable to take advantage of this offering. One of WWE’s Twitter account responded to a fan which is where the news was made.
“Hi! Thank you for reaching out. Our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience. WWE Network will not be available in Saudi Arabia until further notice.”
This comes at a time where WWE has yet to secure a new television deal in the Middle East.
WWE and Saudi General Entertainment Authority officially expanded their partnership last year which will see WWE hold two events in the country per year through 2027.
Their most recent show came with the WWE Super ShowDown pay-per-view event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia at the Mohammed Abdou Arena. Another event is expected to be held later this year.
