- WWE has changed the "WWE World Championship" to simply the "WWE Championship” on WWE.com. Fans should expect WWE to start calling AJ Styles the WWE Champion going forward.

- Speaking of Styles, he is still out of action with an ankle injury that he sustained during his match with Dean Ambrose at last week’s TLC pay-per-view event. He has noted on Instagram that he has been doing rehab all this week. Dave Meltzer noted in the Daily Update on F4WOnline that Styles is not expected to work this weekend's SmackDown live events, but he should be at Tuesday's SmackDown Live in Washington D.C. As of this writing, there is no scheduled date for his return to in-ring action.

- WWE will be holding a SmackDown Live event on Monday, February 13th in Oakland, California at the Oracle Arena. John Cena, AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Randy Orton, Kane, and Bray Wyatt are advertised to appear at the event.
