Braun Strowman is being positioned as a guy that can headline WWE main events for years to come. That's why, after his loss to Brock Lesnar at WWE No Mercy, they made sure to quickly rehab him on the next Raw to make sure that he doesn't lose credibility in the eyes of fans. Eventually, he will have to turn babyface since there's a large chunk of fans that appreciate how awesome he is when he's destroying opponents.
Lesnar is on another sabbatical so Strowman needs to turn his attention on someone else. Last week, he was part of an attack on Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. There has been some speculation in WWE that Strowman will be added to the Shield vs. Miz/Cesaro/Sheamus match at the TLC pay-per-view. Dave Meltzer talked about some of that speculation in the latest Wrestling Observer newsletter. He didn't report this as news but he put 2 and 2 together and figured that Strowman could be added to the match.
One of the things they could do is have The Shield lose the 4 vs. 3 handicap match and then follow-up with a traditional 4 vs. 4 match at Survivor Series. They could also just have Strowman team with Sheamus and Cesaro and have Miz defend the Intercontinental title against Jason Jordan.
There are just about 2 weeks left until the TLC pay-per-view so we should have a clearer picture of their plans by this Monday's episode of Raw.
